*I'm sceptical that this actually makes us any money or anything at all tangible beyond worthless numbers on a screen, and the idiots still didn't seem to realise in those shit interviews last year that as soon as Raul leaves - which he will one day - then the hordes of Guadalajara and Tijuana are not going to give a shit about Wolverhampton Wanderers. The indignant, huffy way that Wild (?) countered Johnny Phillips saying that Wolves aren't *actually* their number one team with "I think you'll find they are" spoke volumes. You don't have a clue mate.
I'm in jalisco now, about 2 hours from Guadalajara and hardly anyone gives a shit about us here. My lads wore wolves gear most days for the last 12 days, including 2 with Raul on the back. Been commented on by about 5 people. One was a yank.

Fosun didn't get where they are by employing duffers. Would anyone take a relegation to clear out Shi, Sellars etc?
I spent most of my career working at senior levels for companies that make Fosun’s assets look like loose change.

Believe me they did get where they are by employing the occasional duffer and in some cases the duffers hung around for quite a long time because of ‘who they knew’.

It’s simply not right to keep on keeping on that Fosun are successful and therefore everyone who works for them is competent.

Fwiw I would take relegation to lose those two - which is where we are headed as it stands

I would never take relegation. No guarantee whatsoever of a return.
You’re right of course, but it’s looking pretty likely anyhow if Bruno stays. Next season is looking a bit ‘bigsammy’ at the moment.

This is silly.

Nobody, even the fuckwit that is Jeff, wants to get relegated.

He's terrible at his job but there is perspective. The moment we are in trouble he'll be gone (he should be gone at the end of this season) and Fosun do like to rotate their staff.

I just hope we get somebody in who knows what they're doing and ditches some of the shit that is clearly evident on and off the field.

We’re in a mess with our only redeeming feature being we have a few youngsters with potential such as Neto and RAN. Everything else is bad. Thank you Jeff Shi.

I think that's a bit dramatic.

We're not a mess and we have a solid base to build on.

We do need change as well, most other businesses do and if we don't we'll we will get relegated under the current plan/ personnel.

I'm hopeful Fosun sell us this summer or at the very least change the personnel in charge.

I'm not saying Shi is competent, what I'm saying is the only thing that might get Shi sacked though is relegation. Is that a price worth paying?

Surprised nobody's commented on this yet.

"Hwang started more games than Podence, Trincao and Neto, while he was regularly selected ahead of Adama Traore before his loan move to Barcelona in January. Lage says he has been pleased with Hwang's first season in old gold.

The head coach added: “I’m very happy with him - even now more happy because last week, as you know, it was my birthday and he gave me a box of cookies. He’s a lovely guy and a top professional. I see him at three o’clock, four o’clock in the club recovering, having treatments to be fit. That’s the kind of mentality and competitiveness we want in our squad.”

I mean, it just adds credence to all the bust-up rumours. Only way it makes sense that he's in the First XI so much is if he's Bruno's man. Confirming the transfer after only half a season was for loyalty, not form.
