It was weird, his wife was out - she's quite an enthusiatic supporter. Jeff always looks pissed off - that said hasn't he done a big interview with Johnny Phillips due out soon? Doesn't smell like someone getting the boot.

I suppose the extreme suggestion is that Fosun have a buyer for Wolves lined up..
Or he was on the phone flogging Neves?

Or he was on the phone to Loptegui.....

Just read the optics article in the athletic. Shi/Sellars letting ruddy go over Bruno’s head shows that the club is broken.

I’m forever being told that Shi is competent but whichever way you cut this, it’s a shambles. Either you trust Bruno or (like 90% on this board) you don’t.

Shi clearly takes no notice of Bruno. Jeff is now the de facto manager and he needs firing.

He is the epitome of a megalomaniac and he’s sending us hurtling towards Wycombe, Reading and Luton.

Better get on the blower to Gao then, as nobody else has authority over Jeff regarding Wolves.

No need the current shambles won’t go unnoticed, that’s for sure.

Once Jorge has milked Jeff for every penny, he’ll stick the knife in and get his next donor (victim) in place. Jeff will be back counting beans.

Jorge has already spotted a generationally talented 4 year old at Belenenses, a snip at €26m. Plus another €8m for his dad.

Are you? Not on here you aren't. All that is pointed out time and again is that he is operating on orders from Fosun who at a very high level will look at a top half finish, sold out stadium and a net spend of zero as success. They will not be looking at whether or not a new contract has been given to the reserve goalkeeper.

Very few, if anybody are arguing that the storm clouds aren’t gathering, or that he is the man who should be negotiating transfers, just that if you aren't invested as a fan that won't be obvious.

Who is telling you Shi is competent?

Although, not keeping an over the hill, expensive goal keeper doesn't sound like the worst decision in the world

It’s not about Ruddy, it’s Bruno saying publicly that he wanted to keep him on Friday and him being released on Monday.

Let’s sack Bruno, bring in lopetegui, tell him he’s got to work with a strike force of hwang, silva and McBurnie….

Nothing that the club does can work with these two clowns (Shi and Sellars) thinking they are cleverer than everybody else in football.

But surely the issue here isn’t the reserve goalie, it’s the graphic illustration that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. At senior levels in any business this is a major problem.

This, added to other instances where Bruno has been undermined, such as the repeated selection of hwang over Podence for commercial reasons (incredible if true) and both transfer windows.

Bruno is literally just a front, there to talk to the press no other reason.

My only conclusion is that Jeff is now actually our manager.

Let's sack Bruno, appoint lopetegui and tell him we've just signed an an 2 year extension to our 35 year old keeper on expensive wages who isn't good enough because the previous manager wanted him.

I agree with the first paragraph after that it gets a bit silly.

I'm still interested to know who thinks Shi is competent and is forever telling you?

are you Bruno?

There is a 35 page thread just below this one where we seem to be in almost unanimous agreement that Bruno is anything but competent. So I wouldn’t be trusting his judgement on anything to do with the playing squad either.

For clarity, Shi is probably competent from a purely bottom line point of view, as long as he doesn’t manage to drop the ball and get us relegated. Doesn’t mean he is any good though.

And one final point. I would argue that the single most important skill for any CEO is the ability to recruit staff with the particular skill sets that the business needs and then DELEGATE. CEOs micro managing the minutiae of every decision because they can’t let go rather than stepping back and engaging in the strategic and grand tactical planning of a business model are heading down a rocky road.

And Jeff has done the exact opposite

Mmm, not exactly. He's just delegated to what from the outside look like a bunch of yes men who are underqualified for the positions they are in.

I wonder when we will be getting this year's Ask Wolves productions

Never enough goals in the team to compete for top four and that is relevant to both Nuno and Bruno so we must cast glances towards Jeff. Bruno far better than I thought in terms of organising a fluid team ( if at times lacklustre) but it's something Jeff and Jorge need to give serious consideration to. Apart from that quite happy with the club and it's business model. Far more players have been purchased, developed and become better players/saleable assets than in recent decades and no reason why that won't continue. If finishing mid-table after flirting with top four is a 'frustrating' season then I'll take it every day.

If he sells Neves for relative pennies he'll soon know what fury in the stands will look like very quickly.

This cunt shouldn't be anywhere near our club.
