It is strange that WWFC is not mentioned in the report considering they do use footballs to represent the Sports Group.

I really hope it's a sign they're going to sell us to somebody who gives a shit.
Does this even exist amongst people rich enough to actually buy a club?

Not trying to be an ass. Just significantly jaded.

Yes… our owners don’t care about us and everybody who does care can’t afford it….

I know I’ll get trampled upon because I’d prefer to be a yo-yo club with ambition to being permanent cannon fodder for city and Liverpool and the knobhead commentators on TV.

'A yo yo club with ambition' doesn't exist, does it, by its very nature.

I absolutely do not want to get relegated. The Championship is awful and you lose all your good players. If you have a proper manager you can keep your head above water even if the owners don't want to/can't invest. See Palace under Hodgson. We do not have a proper manager.

Nearly every owner I can think of gives a shit about their club.

Only Ashley didn't care and he's gone.

The Glazers don't really care, but they do invest some of the money that the club makes. We don't even do that of late.

I think they do care but it's purely financial. It isn't for the love of the club.

I think Fosun have realised they just want the brand (for reasons I don't understand as without success it all goes to shit).

I wish they'd fuck off now, nothing but a bunch of Chinese Ashley's.

I just don’t get how he could spend that money on silva and Semedo and then nothing… either he realised he had been stitched up like a kipper or someone higher up told him to stop.

We had a net spend of about £15m that window

Net spend doesn’t matter though does it? If he’d have saved the £60m we could have strengthened in other areas… either then or later.

Shi, is a good CEO, peobably needs to give a bit more footballing responsibilty to the football side, seems he is trying to do to much.

He wont leave unless he fails to do what Fosun as him, dont forget he has objectives from Fosun

I’ve changed my vote. He is a good chief executive and he should stay.

With a little hindsight, the chasm between pre and post pandemic wolves can only have one explanation.

Guo has instructed Jeff to put the project on ice. Pause it, but keep it viable for better times in the future. Do what you have to to keep going, but keep everything as low key as possible. Do not talk about this and only employ people you can control completely. Anyone with spirit has to go, especially Nuno.

The reason for this has to be political interference from the Chinese government, with various world events meaning that investment in both uk and football are now discouraged.
