McBean has been highly rated for some time here. He came on two summers ago in a friendly against Manchester City and gave their backline a real working over (this was when he was sixteen).
I'd say in reality he mostly fits the bill of "lump". He's big, strong, and as yet not much else. Lacks pace in a fierce way. Not the worst touch in the world and would likely fit League One level relatively easily. Top half Championship could be his ceiling, though if he gets coached well he's got the potential to play low/middle Prem.
