January 2020 transfer window

Watt has joined Carlisle on loan for the remainder of the season.

Stat courtesy of TimII. Since October 19 Cutrone has played 13 minutes in the PL.

Managed to score in that time too :)
Indeed. I don't dislike Cutrone and there are examples such as today when it's difficult to see how Nuno could have got him on the pitch. There are others when he has clearly chosen not to. He doesn't see him as a credible option at the moment. Raul has looked leggy lately, if Cutrone isn't at least the short term answer then we need to find it in Jan.

Had to resort to our best 11 again to try and save the game.

Squad depth will be our Achilles heal eventually. It possibly already is but everyone else’s being below par is keeping us in it.

Agreed, really need to find that extra bit of quality as the drop off between our best 11 and the other options is very noticeable

There's little to no point in Cutrone being here if he's not going to be used in a game like that at the end. Raul was poor and clearly knackered.

Bennett has been a grand servant but we need to move on.

We basically had 3 pre arranged subs so there was no opportunity for Cutrone.

But your point still stands

Agreed, He's done superbly well - arrived on a free with everyone expecting him to be 5th choice in the Champo. All credit to him, but we need a serious upgrade

Nice to see we're employing the brightest and best.

There are a gazillion really bright kids would love to be analysts for PL teams. Absolutely no reason to employ anyone who is not the very best

Thelwell's got his son working at wolves? Up there with Big Sam, Ancelotti + Fergie that is. God knows how he's pulled that off.

Just so happens to be the boss's son?

No experience in the industry or as an analyst. Not even sure his education is relevant. Seems legit.

Breaking news on sky that we are in talks to sign Campana now

Obviously no surprise, but Nuno's confirmed that Vallejo is going back.

Essentially, we see a player there but he isn't ours so best spending our time improving our own (or buying someone)

"Jesus is going, probably. He needs to play. It didn't work out. He needs to find a club becuse the talent is there. We do not have time so let's move forward. Some moments he performed well, some not so. Clearly it didn't work out."
