As if we needed any more confirming, Mr Jose not in the Sociedad squad for their game tomorrow

Wont believe it until I see a leaked blurry telephoto lens shot of Jeff and a really tall bloke holding a shirt on the Molineux pitch

At which point do we admit that the recruitment team might know what they’re doing?

Or do we just brush over that now that we’re signing someone?

Well the counter argument is they left us in a position where losing Raul left us in the shit I guess.
Although the counter to that is why does losing Raul suddenly mean defenders can't defend any more.
So to sum up - no clue what I am saying really

Chelsea will probably come too soon if he still has to fly over, have a medical and finalise things along with registration, but I'd imagine he should be available for Palace next Sat.

Presume our WP application is already in. So for any involvement on Wednesday he will need to be signed, got WP and cleared to play by 12pm Tuesday. Not likely that will happen

I would say that is a Nuno/squad decision though rather than the recruitment team.

The way some have gone on here recently you would think we have a bunch of amateurs who’ve never been around football before and couldn’t scout a player if they tried.

Don’t you know? Jeff is out of his depth

The classic post (a while ago now) was if Wolves where a company (?) the whole board would be sacked for incompetence :)

There's definitely two broad groups on this forum...

Group one spend most of their time moaning about Nuno, the club, the players, the recruitment team... and group two spend most of their time moaning about group one.

No moral highground for either imo! ;)

Are you in the new 3rd group that bollocks Group 1 and Group 2...and are you open to applications?

No, I'm definitely in group 1. But I'm trying to be more constructive with my criticism!

It’s the group that when we win, we’re the best in the world, can qualify for the champions league and love Nuno - but that when we lose, we are rubbish, might get relegated and Nuno should go...

The reality is always more gray than either of those, but some people only seem to manage to see the extremes.

Not sure there's many in this group that are as extreme as that, still amazes me that some people get so bent out of shape when saying virtually the same thing

I'm not sure I recognise anyone on this forum in that first paragraph description tbh mate, let alone a whole group. Very hyperbolic. Plenty of people moaning last night and we won!

I'd say the reaction to moaners is often pretty extreme.

Genuinely facepalmed reading this post. I think it was Paul who jokingly mentioned people being “smug” earlier today on a different thread. Well Paul, you can see from above thateveryone does it, my old fruit 😉

We’ve been reactionary rather than proactive. It’s been well documented over the last week or so that we were happy to sit and not sign anyone - but have had our hand forced because of performances on the pitch. I suppose you could say that’s the “recruitment team knowing what they’re doing” if you really wanted to. Personally I’d have preferred them to be proactive in the first place.

Classic.
