Jeremy Corbyn

As I said and look at the MP thread for numerous evidence, he constantly says things which can be contrived as anti-semitic, I can't say whether he is or isn't, my personal view is there's a considerable number of people on that wing who can't distinguish between being anti Zionist and anti-semitic. This is his Twitter post today, it's questionable at best

Labour unable to say what rule Corbyn has broken. Rather than cite one they've since said it's for his reaction to the report. Today's EHRC report literally says that criticising internal party matters and commenting on the scale of anti-semitism within Labour must not be construed as anti-semitism.

So antisemitism is a rising problem that he's been studying for years but the EHRC only found two 'actionable' cases among 100,000 people, so either it's rising at glacial speed or its not a problem apart from a couple of incidents. Which is it ?

He was talking about anti-semitism in society at large rather than in the Labour Party.

The guardian thinks that corbs and Starmer will try and find mutual ladders to climb down, rather than split the party.

I don't know where Starmer goes from here. If he suspends Corbyn he risks dividing the party and if he doesn't suspend him the media and the Tories will tear him a new one.

Lets hope he does the right thing and gets rid of the anti-semites.

Being in control of the labour party is way more important than being in control of the country obvs

Covid aside the reason this country is fucked is because a divided party won a general election

I must have missed it when the current governing party removed the whip from a load of MPs just before a landslide win then, clause 4 whining was just a figment of my memory too perhaps.

2019 was divided v divided. Tories aren't divided anymore. Not on Europe which is the only thing they tend to fall out about.

Party members put in a lot of work for Labour and provide a lot of money. Lots of them leaving will have an impact.

Plenty left because they didn’t like to associated with racists. Plenty have already come back.

My comment was about 2015

Membership got to huge levels under Corbyn. I can't imagine we'll see figures like that again anytime soon.
