Keir Starmer at it again..

He's still skirting around the issue that the people who he needs to vote for him like Johnson, so isn't attacking him as hard as he could/should. Relying on voter fatigue in 3 years is a dangerous plan given the way he's managed to ride out Covid and fuck up after fuck up without it hitting him in the polls

He's also been having lessons from Lord Falconer and Ed Miliband on how economics works. Sublime.

Yeah, as opposed to the rousing reception Fat Al got when he came here. Where he shuffled in, pretended to drink a pint then fucked off.

(And as I'm incredibly petty, I'm not using the Lych Gate again, fuck off with letting that cunt use your pub for one of his stupid publicity gigs)

Lych Gate has new landlords these days.

I may excuse them in that case.

I mean look at him. Sake.

Also, would love to know from those who dislike Starmer - as it's essentially a binary choice, who would you prefer to lead the country? Boris Johnson or Keir Starmer. Your only two choices, you can't pick some fantasy candidate.

If you pick Option A then I'd really like to know why.

Did you vote for Corbyn in 2019 and 2017?

If those are the options next time, it's possible I'll explode...or vote Monster Raving Loony party .....or move to a remote Scottish island and become a hermit

But my vote doesn't matter (Gav gets 70%+ here, despite being a twat), for most people in the West Midlands it does.

Would the anti-Starmers vote for someone else and let the Tories in? Because inexplicably, millions of people do vote Tory. I don't know why, but then millions of people bought One Direction records.

Well it isn’t at the ballot box, but in terms of who is going to form the next government it essentially will be the leader of either Labour or the Conservatives. And if Fat Alex has had enough before then the alternatives over that side of the divide are still extremely unpalatable.

Therefore Starmer all day every day while he remains Labour leader. Lesser of two evils is still improving things while not being some political nirvana.

My seat every vote counts as we flipped from Emma Reynolds to a Conservative drone.

Happy for you that you can vote for a fantasy candidate.

I will vote Labour for the reasons you allude to, they aren't (full blown) Tories.

I wouldn't be that happy for me. My MP is Gavin Williamson.

I vote Green because I believe in much of what they say and the more vote share they get, the more deposits they don't lose, so they can field more candidates nationwide. We already have two Green councillors in South Staffs, unthinkable when I first moved here.

Or I could vote Labour who won't win anyway, what do you reckon?

So it isn’t a binary choice.

It is though, isn't it.

I'm asking you which one would you rather lead our country.

If you don't want to answer, it's fine.
