Keir Starmer at it again..

I've always been impressed with Nandy whenever I've seen her as well.

Surely that would the Shadow Chacellor's role? Granted it was her husband

They were two separate points poorly articulated (ironically!),

She was shadow home secretary during a dismal period for Labour.

2010 - 8,609,527
2015 - 9,347,273
2017 - 12,878,460
2019 - 10,269,051

She didn't vote against/oppose austerity, she didn't vote against the Tory immigration bill last year, so her as a potential home secretary doesn't fill me with joy, however compared to Patel!!

Cooper is very right wing on immigration. However, she's not going to be able to outflank Patel as she's as mad as a hatter.

Can you give some examples of this?
"To stop the growing crisis at Calais, strengthen restrictions on new countries, change benefit rules so people can't claim when they first arrive, change deportation rules to make it easier to send home EU citizens who commit crimes"

"We also brought in stronger border checks. But we should have been quicker to bring in the Australian style points based system."

She also argued May's 2014 Bill on immigration (the one that led to Windrush scandal) was too soft.

That's more right wing than some Tories.

I hate that "Australian points" nonsense.

1) It wouldn't work here
2) We've always been able to limit numbers if we want to, we didn't. Still don't, arguably
3) Australia is on many levels a horrifically racist country, I don't want to be taking lessons from them
4) Er, you may have noticed that it's substantially easier to get from France to the UK than it is to get to Australia from well, anywhere else
5) As such, anyone emigrating to Australia really really really wants to go there, rather than just chancing their arm

Complete sloganising rubbish.

Bad result for him last night. Their leaflets headlined 'Lib Dems can't win here' clearly worked wonders. For factional reasons he dropped the usual candidate and replaced him with briefcase wanker Ben Wood.

Yep, lets judge people by their appearance. Great look for labour.

You lost, start your own party or get over it.

The Labout Right would have wanked themselves into oblivion if this had occurred under Corbyn.

Come on this is disingenuous bollocks. You know as well as everyone else on here that Labour voters went Lib Dem because it was the best option to beat the Tory. The winning candidate even thanked them for lending her their vote. To suggest anything to the contrary is just weak
