We played Friday night, Leicester playing Leeds tonight (Mon) and Braga at home in the Europa League on Thursday. We proved last year that it doesn't always affect league forum but it's got to be an advantage for us. Especially considering Leicester will be without Castagne & Pereira.

Team picks itself really (I'm assuming Marçal will be unavailable again).

Patrício

Boly Coady Kilman

Semedo Dendoncker Neves Neto Aït-Nouri

Podence Jiménez

SUBS: Ruddy, Saïss, Hoever, Adama, Silva, Moutinho, Otasowie/Vitinha

Tough game but I'd back us against anyone. We owe them one after the 2 games last year as well.

2019/20: D 0-0 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2018/19: W 4-3 (H), L 0-2 (A), D 0-0 (H, LC, lost on pens)
2012/13: W 2-1 (H), L 1-2 (A)
2007/8: D 1-1 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2006/7: L 1-2 (H), W 4-1 (A)
2005/6: D 0-0 (H), L 0-1 (A)
2004/5: D 1-1 (H), D 1-1 (A)
2003/4: W 4-3 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2002/3: D 1-1 (H), L 0-1 (A), W 4-1 (H, FAC)
1995/6: L 2-3 (H), L 0-1 (A)
1994/5: W 1-0 (H, FAC)

Overdue a win there. That 4-1 win was great fun though. Even Seyi played well.

Same team for me, will be very interesting to see if we can reach some of the same heights as against Palace playing a decent team, can't wait

I doubt very much Leicester will afford the wingbacks as much space as palace did (I do hope I'm wrong)

I did wonder if Nuno might revert to Saiss against a stronger side but - like everyone else - I cannot see how we change the team, especially after 8 days' rest.

If Donk rampages forward as much as he did then it might open some space for them........might be a little risky though

I'd be happy with a draw tbh.

Same team as Friday.

Same team and take the game to them. We’re more than capable. And as much as o love Saiss I never want to see him at wing back again.

I think he will play Marcal (if fit), even though I wouldn’t. I don’t think he will do pay Saiss there so a Marcal injury will force him to correctly IMO play RAN.

They’ve got half their team out injured so we should fancy ourselves to go and win. I don’t think they are the good anyway.

Same team. No need to change anything.

Fairly obvious that you have to stop them breaking on us, do that and we can win. History says it'll be 00 though

Yep since Ndidi has been injured he's played a deeper block with the 3-4-3 this season. They've been excellent at it tbf.

We've generally played quite deep against Vardy to deny him space so be interesting to see how we approach it. Very different type of player but can't afford to allow the type of spaces we did to Antonio against West Ham.

Semedo and Neto against their left side could work well for us I think. Especially if we can get the switches of play through Neves and Coady

Even if Marcal is fit, could we really drop RAN after a debut like that?

They don't really have anyone special at RW to justify dropping RAN. Though Under might play given their quick turnaround of games.

I fancy us to knick something here. Its 13 years since we won there and we have been really unlucky in our last few trips there with some shite calls, chalked off goals and unlucky goals conceded. Going for an odd goal win.

I'd play Marcal if fit......for no other reason than my bet with @Deutsch Wolf that Ait-Nouri wouldn't start 3 league games on the trot before April.

Nah gotta be the same team hasn't it really!

Hopefully it will be the same team. There is no need to play Saiss or Marcal - we have all been talking about this change of style and imposing our style on games, dropping an exclusively defensive minded player in at LWB in place of a kid who played fantastically well in the previous game goes completely against that for me.

We need to be careful that we don't underestimate Leicester.

They took Leeds apart last night at Elland Rd., so Nuno needs to get his tactics spot-on. Depending on what he decides may impact on his selection.

Personally, I feel we should play a 3-5-2 system with Neves, Moutino and Donk in midfield with Jiminez and Pod/Neto up front to start with. Frustrate Leicester, then bring Traore on after 60 mins if necessary or swap Pedro/Neto for fresh legs.

They did take them apart but the way Leeds play helped them. Rodgers even said before kick off they will just overload the spaces Leeds leave as they bomb forward and then chuck in the fact Leeds forgot how to do simple things like head and pass the ball for a good 30 mins.

Leicester are very good but they got a huge helping hand last night.

I don't think Nuno has any real interest in playing 3-5-2 against anyone at the moment.
