If Adama isn't using his pace... Then what's the point of him? He just wants to slow the game down (like the rest of the team) and then do a foot shuffle
He had 2 or players around him most of the time. The only time we looked like scoring was once he came on.

We have next to no goal threat. Not very enjoyable watching us completely write off the first half of so many games with a grim, negative approach. Back to the dull as ditchwater thread we go...

I don't think we can bury our head in the sands with this. Leicester didn't have to get out of attacking second gear and we look toothless as we enter a very challenging run of fixtures. Lots of work to be done

If Fabio Silva scores more than 1 Premier League goal this season I will be astonished. If anyone wants an even tenner with the winnings to charity I'll happily take the bet
I don’t feel like I can say anything on Silva just yet for fear of being accused of “writing him off”, but you’d certainly expect or want a bit more from him when he comes on to the pitch. He’s looked like a competition winner so far, not a £35m footballer.

I guess he might look a bit better once he’s started a few games and had more time to grow and develop with the squad, but unfortunately as we didn’t sign another forward, he’s being thrown in at the deep end and having to learn on the job.

The reality is, bar possibly Rui, every single player in our side today were below par. We could still be playing this time next week and wouldn’t have scored. Our lack of goals is concerning.

I like Adama, but he didn't always have multiple players on him. A few times he received the ball then almost waited until he did

Leicester are a good side, we didn’t play very well, Leicester won a soft penalty, we lost....deservedly so. That’s about it really.

Not just teams who defend deep, but also teams who go like for like with our formation. I'd be interested to see the stats of our results against teams who match our shape, I bet we haven't won many of them...

Jimenez had 90 minutes minutes today & never had sight of goal yet an 18 year old should have scored in 17 minutes? Give him a chance.

Silva certainly doesn't look hugely different to Cutrone.

I'm assuming you're meaning that Raul was even worse than below par? If not, I've got no idea what you watched. He was dreadful.

Agreed - it’s not easy when you have so many defenders round you, but he did some decent layoffs which is about all that was possible with the service he received

I think some of you are forgetting that Leicester also created the square root of fuck all today.
They scored after 15mins. They didn’t need to. The penalty is shit, but once they’ve scored they don’t have to attack so we can’t use that stick.

How much were Raul and Pod dreadful because of the other 9 and how much did the other 9 look awful because Raul and Pod were so bad?

I'm not saying he should have scored. I'm simply saying that £35m looks a bloody big bet on a player who - as Jinky says - looks miles off what we need right now. But based on current evidence you have to say that we've spent £35m and still don't have a back up for Raul

I'm getting really frustrated by our surrendering of first halves, not taking games to opposition and inviting pressure

We eventually turn it on but its normally too late

Nuno baffles me sometimes
