I'll start by saying it's great to be back, in full stadiums, watching football again.
Wolves away fans in fine voice, unsurprisingly.
Game of two halves really.
Leicester the dominant side in the 1st, Wolves the dominant side in the 2nd.
Both sides seemed to lack in the final third though, whether it be the final pass, finish or poor control of the ball.
Probably to be expected, given it's the first game of a season, with a pre-season which still hasn't seen a return to the norm, especially with the short break since the Euros.
I thought Trincao looked tidy, if a little lightweight at times....He's someone we have been tracking for a few seasons, but he was destined for Wolves with your guys links with Portuguese players.
I don't think we deserved a clean sheet, although relieved we got one, with having 4/5 first teamers out in defence (Evans/Fofana/Castagne/Justin/Bertrand).
Although we usually come flying out of the traps at the start of a season, I get the impression we will actually improve as the season goes on, with 4 of the above 5 hopefully returning pretty soon, plus Soumare and Daka adapting to the league over the season.
On the balance of play, I don't think we deserved the 3 points, but a top finish from a top striker, was fortunately enough of a small margin to separate the sides.
We looked pretty lost at times in the 2nd half, but that's unsurprising, with the amount of first team players missing.
Lets hope our two clubs, as well as a few others, can continue to ruffle the feathers of the so called 'Super League' clubs again.
