Let's talk about Nuno....

Yeah does some mad things sometimes with and without the ball but got a lot of good attributes. Definitely see him developing as a centre back though
I actually think he could end up in midfield from what i've seen of him here. I know he's been highly touted as a future centre half but i just can't see it.

He's got 3 years of development to go while he waits to replace Boly so plenty of time to improve

I think he's very similar to Doc in skillset but with potential to be a much better defender. Could be a very good RWB.

Noway for me, Doc was way better technically, cant really compare them but Doc is way older too..

maybe we should bring in Baresi as sweeper and Maldini at LB too
What has that got to do with comparing the height of one player to another? No one has said "sign Cannavaro", just that he wasn't very tall 🤷‍♂️

it hasnt, as much as bringing in Cannavaro to the discussion

as long as you can defend and also play some decent football going forward i would welcome the player here, despite their heigth..should be pretty obvious really..but if you are equal in every strength apart from how tall you are, of course the taller guy has the upper hand in the end..

“Hoever isnt very tall is he?”
“Canavaro wasn’t very tall, only 5’9” “
er, center half doesn’t need to be 6’3” tall discussion sorted...
you chat some shit sometimes Fred

Cannavaro was a freak. Only 5ft9 but jumped 6ft 5 and his timing was impeccable, also had great strength. Kilman is 6ft4 but he barely gets off the floor.

As I put earlier, the mental attributes also trump the physical. Not the biggest, not the quickest but his reading of the game etc was the very best.

Hoever not as small height wise but he doesn’t appear to have the widest of frames. Of course he can put some muscle on but he’s more Coady than Ben Mee (Coady actually being the tallest of the three). I think RB or RCB in a 3 will be where he goes, the next 12 months will tell us more after a bit more physical and technical development.

Kounde is tiny for a centre half but is sensational. Has to play alongside an absolute liability too in Diego Carlos who has fallen off a cliff since being Adama'd.

Hoever is a bit slender to be compared to those guys but he's got plenty of time to bulk up.

He at least looks a decent footballer but I'm not sure I've seen anything from him that suggests he's better than RAN at the moment.
