Sorry if it annoys me asking. One of my best mates is colour blind and i always found it mental when we played cricket and he said the ball and the grass were the same colour. Must be so difficult

No, I can tell the grass from Liverpool kits. Mark saying Utd are grey actually makes sense, explains it a bit better.

Really difficult to explain as, until stuff like this happens, I never actually think I’m colour blind

I’m not the only one with this issue, someone else ran it through a website so others can see as I do:

I always explain it as people with colour blindness can see about 10,000 different shades, whereas those without see about 1,000,000 (except for those with extreme colourblindness - but that's much more rare). Same with me, I had to tell the teams apart with their socks.
