That would be the Champions League he got them knocked out of in the group stages this year by Leipzig who Liverpool took apart
You can say what you like but Man Utd have had a pretty good positive season under OGS yet we have had a poor one under Nuno. Still I would not swap but credit where it’s due. OGS has over performed

John Lundstram again never seen a player at this level give the ball away so much but shite from Ramsdale just palms it straight to Martinelli

Ramsdale just slow motion diving and then parrying it. He’s genuinely awful. You have to be trying to hold onto that, and even if you spill it you should still recover before anyone is near you.

Not being sanctimonious or anything but last year when Henderson left I said that Ramsdale would be a real down grade and they would be relegated . And here we are.

TBF I'm not sure what else ramsdale could do there
For the second goal? Just throw his hat on it!

Have you not seen how good Rui’s handling is? He tries to hold onto everything. Sometimes he tries to hold onto something when he should just parry and it leads to a chance/goal, but that’s better than just pushing tame shots into the middle of the area all the time.

If a shots hit hard then a parry will naturally go away from goal, but Rui still tries to hold them. Ramsdale could have gathered that but instead just pushed it into the area as there was no power on the shot.

Yeah I said this too, he was a huge reason why Bournemouth went down and everyone seemed to miss that, he let's in loads of goals like that 2nd today, that you don't see as frequently from other keepers at this level.

Will be interesting to see how he plays at a lower level, my view is he isn't massively athletic and seems to get no spring or explosiveness in his diving.

Ramsdales a weird one, from a stats perspective he's bang average and by that I mean his stats show he saves, on average, everything you would expect him too.

But when you watch him you can't help but think he should have done better with rebounds, or holding shots, pushing them into less dangerous areas etc.

He's still young so might improve over the next few years.

In the interests of full disclosure this is what you actually said

There was also a whole thread for putting finishing places 1-20 which you didn't contribute to

Baggies diddled by VAR as the lines are drawn against the foot of Bartley rather than Diagne who actually scored.

He is virtually stood next to the other guy though, so surely that counts as interfering with play in some regard?

Southampton looked awful so far.

I detest the shit, but even I am flabbergasted by that VAR conclusion.

If that is the case they should stop the game and award the goal.

It's not a mistaken identity thing though. They mentioned it, it's because the view is obstructed and they couldn't say with certainty where the scorers position was, so have gone with the on field call.

Bartley wasn’t interfering. Apart from the fact that it meant the goon in a TV but couldn’t draw a definitive line on Diagne. So the on field decision stood. Even though you could see in the still he was at least a foot onside.

This is beyond farce now. The FA need to fire Riley and bin it.
