May as well get the new thread started.

Coleraine have just knocked out Maribor on pens in the Europa League, that is an absolutely huge win.

Bala Town also got their first ever win in Europe by beating Valletta 1-0.

TNS also won in the Europa.

Great might for the Paddy's (English but Welsh when asked....sorry Pad)

Nothing ever came of that story about TNS wanting to move into the English system, so could have been a load of nonsense in the end.

They were seething for a while that the league got decided on PPG, might have tried throwing their weight around out of spite I suppose.

Shamrock Rovers won on pens, Bohemians (featuring Anto Breslin and Conor Levingston) lost on pens.

Didn't we sign a young lad from TNS a few years back. Jake Cassidy is the name that pops into my head?

Edit - Nope different club.

The mighty Airbus UK Broughton who he made zero league appearances for. He joined them from Llandudno, played a few pre-season games and then joined us

We had Paul Harrison for a short while who then went on to join TNS and he's still there now. Played over 400 games for them.

Smallest top division keeper I remember was Laurie Sivell at 5 ft 8 for Ipswich and then Paul Cooper at 5 ft 9

Surely the shortest international keeper was Mexico’s flamboyant Campos who was between 5 ft 6 and 5ft 7 depending on what site you look at

Oompa Loompa dippidy do I have another chipped goal for you.

A few days without football and I've caved to watch Latvia vs Andorra.

I'm not even sorry either.

I appreciate the hope (there was a missed penalty too), but no :icon_lol:

Bulgaria vs Ireland isn't a whole lot better so far.

Ireland are playing marginally more football than they did under MON and Mick but they never look like scoring from open play. They're just very very limited.

spain closer and closer to equalise
