Sheff Utd will pick up some points to get them comfortably past Derby, Sunderland and Huddersfield points haul. They aren’t getting smashed every week like Derby were. The saving grace also is that even after a putrid start they’re only 5 points from safety because of how poor the bottom 4 is at the moment. I’d be very surprised if you need 35+ points to stay up as low as 32/33 might even do.

Yeah they could easily stay up. One of those 4 will and I don’t think it will be Albion or Fulham.

Yeah that game was the most obvious defeat ever and just a general pile of shite game. To my memory the goal was a free header centre of the goal ten yards out buried bottom corner.
Yep that's right.
I think we hit the post late on chasing the equaliser.
One of those games where we should have been nailed on to win. Reading the paper on the plane over that morning, the Portsmouth players hadnt been paid in months and they were about to go into administration. Everyone expected an easy 3 points but we never did things the easy way back then.
I got back to Dublin steaming drunk and pissed off and got into a scrap at an ATM when someone barged into me. Bad times

That was it. Think the stonewall penalty they missed was a handball against Tommy Smith.

Can’t stand the way Utd just fall over and roll around for everything, it’s awful. The ref even had a word with Van De Beek it’s that’s bad.
And Southampton score, yay!

James Ward-Prowse has the best deadball deliveries...period.

I can’t stand ward prowse, he’s a little Scrote - but that is an absolutely fantastic free kick for 2-0

He's pretty ordinary but far from horrific, I'd rather have him in my team than say Harry Winks.

Man United will be changing into their zebra kit at half time

Make sure you set that bar nice and high :D

I would have him in the England squad but only as our options are so poor/average in that area.

Foden, rice, Bellingham, AMN for me - put the youngsters in who may be really good rather than the dross who never will be.

Of course it matters. Or you'd still have Beckham playing for Real Madrid, pretty sure he can still take free kicks and corners.
He can pass the ball around like anybody and also have the peak of freekicks and corners..which is way more important in todays modern game.

His passing is nothing special at all.

He's a dead ball specialist and for now Saints can carry him, good for them and good for him. He isn't a particularly good player though.
