Live Match Discussion: 2020/21

He's chosen Germany, interview with him gone up on the Athletic this morning with his reasons

OGS playing Fernandes when 4-0 up from the away leg. Watch him complain about scheduling and burnout the next time they lose

They have Chelsea at the weekend too so not like it's an easy game.

Given his entire tactics are "give the ball to the good players and hope the rubbish ones don't mess up too much" I'm not that surprised though.

Just don't get why you piss around with the team in European games, we didn't do it.

Slavia look pretty good.

Leicester are a good side but the defense just isn't up to it for a long European campaign, IMO. They're bound to get found out eventually.

And this is coming from a guy who generally thinks Jonny Evans is pretty decent.

Soyuncu totally losing it with the sub haha.

Tbf their options there are pretty good just got Fofana and Justin currently injured who have been very good this season. Decent depth really

They have talent but IMO none of it is truly top end stuff, not enough for CL.

Think Fofana will be. Pereira is top class (if he is all ok after his injury - I haven't watched him too closely lately).

Think it's mostly about the coaching anyway. Rodgers is doing a very good job in general, he's got them looking ready to be a top four side.

Agree to disagree about Pereira. Not that he's bad, far from it, but I wouldn't have him over, for example, Semedo.

You're spot on about Rodgers, though, much as I may not like it. He's clearly got some substance to go with his guff.

You've had a mare there Alan. Pereira is much better, and Semedo shouldn't be getting a game for Portugal ahead of him.
