There's was one earlier in the season where they subbed on a fat old centre half just for the pens and he scored chill as fuck. Can't remember who the team or player was though now!

We tried it once. Man City in the League Cup. Rodders ready to come on in the 116th minute (apparently shit hot at pens). City then proceeded to keep the ball for 5 mins and it never went out of play. His moment snatched away

Didn't we have someone stripped and ready to come on at the end of a game near the end of season for a token appearance under Nuno but the ball didn't go out of play? Jordao?

Almost happened to Will Norris (was him wasn't it & possibly Kilman as well). Came on as a sub, got to the goal and ref blew for FT

We might struggle to hold top half which would starkly illustrate just how bad the run-in has been.

Our hope for a top half finish will rely on hoping that Manchester United and West Ham both want to finish 6th.

Hopefully Brighton and Palace only draw. Who knows what United will turn up. West Ham can still get EL so can’t see them not turning up.

In the relegation battle I can’t see anyone winning on the last day. Two draws might be enough for Burnley.

Plus we might get Liverpool reserves again so who knows…

Brentford are flip flops on and Everton have just put out one hell of a carrot out for Leeds.
