Loan Watch 2019-2020

Still a good experience for him to go through to be fair

Rafa Mir has had a relatively successful loan spell at Huesca. Huesca have been promoted to La Liga with Mir scoring 7 in 17

That will bump up the fee we get for him, then.

Hopefully he gets some proper gametime at that level. Cov have sold their normal LWB to Norwich.

Should probably start a new loan thread for 20/21. Feels odd that some teams are in full prep mode for next season and 2 Divisions are still being played

If he gets games ideal level for him to be tested at. Hopefully a good sign that some of our academy products getting loans in the Championship. If Cardiff don't go up (can't see them winning the play offs personally) hopefully they take Sanderson again. Or hopefully the games he has played has proved to someone else they should take him.

Harris can fuck off after that nonsense the other week, I was fuming at that.

Send him somewhere where he can develop as a RCH (even in a four will do) as that's his future here.

He had just got into their team hadn't he? Was quite unlucky

I really hope he has a commitment of game time, this second half of the season has been awful.

Like I say they are selling to McCallum to your near neighbours. The vacancy is there. He just needs to take it.

Think Robins will stick with his system too.

That's a good move for him - maybe we're finally starting to utilise the loan market properly...

:icon_lol:

But I’m sure it was a great minute!!

Coventry’s recruitment has seemed pretty smart in the last couple of years so I’m confident they believe he’s good enough to get decent minutes

Coventry will be playing championship football next season too, I hope Giles gets game time

Ryan Giles isn't ever going to be a Wolves player, it's about maximising value. Cruel but true, unless you are elite you aren't coming through to be anything other than Oscar Buur ie a player in a position with weak depth who won't play, but may sit on the bench. Without Fosun Ronan would have played 100 games for us by now and I'd have been delighted

Not sure that’s necessarily true - he’s an England u21 international, with a great attitude, that Nuno’s had in his squads a few times - There’s no guarantee, but he has a chance.

We’re signing ready made 20/21 year olds. So unless you’re tearing up the championship you won’t get a look in here.

The fact he didn’t tear up L1 makes that unlikely. Even if you tear it up you will get a “look in”. Still doesn’t mean you’ll even make the 18.
