Loan Watch 2020-2021

Surprised we haven't just shifted Miranda out to Famalicão again. He wasn't too bad for them last season.

and they very least a cheap transfer to Fosunhoppers.

It feels like decades since he had a blinder v Villa at Molineux and then got broken by Matt Smith at QPR and never recovered

He looked alright some of the time but all of Zohore, Smith and Hugill (FFS) absolutely mullered him. No idea how to deal with that kind of forward and there was no way back.

Atrocious vs Hull at home too when he got a go due to Benno having to fill in at RWB (with spectacular results).

Still a better option than Jesus though, so not all bad (even if Nuno disagrees with me)

Good article on the athletic from Tim about MGW.

MGW out for three months. Shit news.

Gutted for him, he finally was getting a run of games and impressing everyone by the sounds of it.

Willy Boly recently visited South Wales?

Shite news for him but hopefully back early next year and gets a decent run going.

2 hours in and no one has given this the recognition it deserves.

We try not to encourage him, did you not get the memo ?
Must have been during the switch over to the new forum. I'll make sure I follow the guidance from now on!

From the weekend:

Ryan Giles - Coventry City, The Championship

Continued his run in the team with a full game at Brentford. Didn't contribute much, though, apart from playing a smart pass to his team mate on the edge of the box who blazed over. Lost 2-0.

Terry Taylor - Grimsby Town, League Two

Got the full 90 in a 3-2 win at Leyton Orient. Didn't play a part in the goals but seemed to get forward more, whipping in a couple of crosses from which they hit the woodwork on one of them.

Rafa Mir - S.D Huesca, La Liga

An all-action display from Rafa against Valladolid. First, forcing the keeper into a fine stop with a looping header, then spinning away from the defender and clipping a wicked curving shot into the far corner to get his team's first. Had a flying header saved late on as well. Finished 2-2.

Goal on 0:35

Jordao - Famalicao, Portuguese Primeira Liga

A full game and a great goal as posted by Tredman. He did also bloop a close-range shot over the bar, but it came at him fast. Could it be that we might see the best of him in his preferred position? Who'd have thought it.

Tote Gomes - Grasshoppers, Swiss Second Tier

Played the full game in a 1-0 defeat.

Jackson Smith - Frickley Athletic, Northern Premier League

Helped his team in a penalty shootout for his debut then made his league debut in a 2-1 win last week.

On as sub: Austin Samuels came on for the last five minutes for Bradford in a 3-1 win, while Connor Ronan played the second half for Grasshoppers.

Unused subs: Campana, Wang

Not in squad: Gibbs-White, Sanderson, Ennis, Sarkic, Bonatini, Pardington

No game: Herc

Vinagre behind Holebas in the Olympiacos side. Which as looks go ain't great.

TBF you could say exactly the same about RAN and Saiss

Holebas is an immense cunt but he's not awful as a player.
