Loan Watch 2020-2021

I refuse to read Match Day Threads. Like I have said in the past if everything I said during a game was typed out I would be cringing reading it back later.

Getting furious because the club are recalling an asset to cover an injury issue is just fucking daft. Then throwing in shite like Fosun don't care, Fosun doing it on the cheap or doesn't say much about our ambition is just embarrasing. The same people who on the 2nd Feb, when Podence is still injured and we lose another player for a few games will be on Twitter demanding to know why we didn't recall MGW when we had the chance. Up there with people who constantly tweet the club with "ANNOUNCE whichever player we have been linked with" every 5 bastard minutes
Twitter in shit content shocker....

It

Its very rare i click on the comments but was intrigued to see what Swansea fans were saying.
Got ya. There's maybe 1 comment in 250 that are actually intelligent. Every idiot imaginable literally goes on there to show the world how incredibly stupid they are.

Can’t wait for him to score off the bench against Palace this weekend and to be deemed as THE SAVIOUR.

The following week he can become a hero as well

Altogether now "he loves the pizza..."

While he didn't pull up any trees last time, tbf he didn't get too many chances and I'm not sure we played to his strengths. No-one can question his effort and fight on the pitch. Hopefully him and Nuno can kiss and make up for one last go at it.
Is he eligible to play tomorrow?

Whoa, it's all kicked off. OP updated.

Didn't see the Cutrone recall coming, or the MGW one so soon after an injury for that matter.

I don't think he did TOO badly. I thought he showed a bit in his sub appearances and his goals were tidy finishes - he's just not as good as Raul, obviously.

As I've said elsewhere I don't think Nuno was the problem in the first place. I imagine there have been plenty of conversations this week though. This is Patrick's time to turn his words into actions...

Maybe the one glimmer of hope with Cutrone would be that his last proper appearance for Wolves was almost certainly his best performance, and by some way too, but that was over a year ago and there's little from his loan spell to suggest he's built on that.

It depends on their fitness levels whether they play/on bench or not.

Agree, maybe the 4-2-3-1 will suit him better ? I really hope I am wrong but i have a strong feeling that this is not going to work out again. I really don't think he's that good and even at his best he seems like the type striker that relies on a regular good supply into the box and those chance quality and xg charts posted on here yesterday don't fill me with confidence that he will have the supply to score many goals.

The players have found that you can't create chances if there's nobody in the box to create the space for a chance.

That front man or deep lying player attacking the box as MGW can is the key to unlocking Adama and Neto/ Podence as creative forces.

The chances will then come.

don't know if it will work out for either Cutrone or Morgan but its worth a punt, they're our players and we are down to the bare bones of our squad. I'm hoping we can bring 1 or 2 players in during the window but its not a given.

Johnson seems to like Sanderson - but we are frustrated at his game time so far

Although you can moan about some of the choices we make, it's good we are putting pressure on teams to play them or pulling then back

Sanderson playing LCB in a back four for Sunlun tonight
