Loan Watch 2021-22

I’d take him coming back over paying £25m for Trincao

I'd love to see him back, but only if we're playing a style that suits him and he gets proper gametime, none of this coming on at 85 minutes shit. Otherwise leave him where he is and cash in at the end of the season.
As for Trincao I'm way off writing him off yet.

Depends on his form over the rest of the season obviously
I just don't see where that sort of offer comes from, I don't think anyone higher placed than Wolves is going to be interested and would think anyone lower placed would want to spend that sort of money on someone with more track record at the top level.

I tend to agree, but i also look at Buendia and Maddison who went for huge money with limited Prem track record..

Just had a quick look at the list of highest Championship fees and most tend to be either players that have just been relegated or bigger clubs who can afford to take a bit of a punt on potential. Buendia this summer will undoubtedly have been influenced by the Grealish money weighing heavy in Villa pockets, perhaps a little of the same influenced Maddison to Leicester as think that was the same summer they sold Mahrez to City?

Ramsdale 25m - Only just relegated, effectively buying a Premier League player in my view
Willock 26m - Never played a Championship game
On the list I've found on Transfermarkt Watkins is the big standout going to Villa last year for £30m, then drops to Sessegnon around £25m but I'd categorise that as a bigger club taking a bit of a punt, then we're at Maddison to Leicester and Benrahma to West Ham around £20m.

Vast majority are transfers in the summer following relegation, which as I say doesn't really classify as signing a Championship player to me.

Could he not play a similar style of forward position to what Hwang played this weekend?

Was more highlighting how much decent English players can go for......I wouldn't really call Ramsdale and Willock that decent

MGW sent off for 2 bookings, shame as he was playing well. The second was for a dive, but they don't show replays on the red button so don't know if it was

Fair few ex wolves players in that game too
Gibbs-White on loan, four exes started (Malone, Saville, Wallace, Ojo), Robinson and Afobe currently unused subs and Guedioura and Bödvarsson not involved!

Yo lads, you know we used to be shit, yeah? Stop buying our old players.
