Loan Watch 2021-22

By what accounts? It's all whispers and hearsay isn't it?

And anyway, players that are disgruntled (potentially Jonny, Podence, Hoever(!), Coady) will change that if the manager leaves.
Yeah, nothing concrete - just the various chinese whispers going around.

If I was him I would look to leave for the good of my career. Like Neves should.

Spiers...clueless
It feels like Luke Matheson has been around for a while already, but the right-back is still only 19. He has had an interesting year, out at Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Championship and then with Scunthorpe United, rock-bottom in League Two, from January onwards.

Expectations with Matheson are lofty. That is what comes with a £1 million fee and a career that was sky-rocketed by scoring at Old Trafford for Rochdale. After a challenging year it is now about turning his career curve upwards again. With 11 starts for Scunthorpe and eight for Hamilton he’s still played roughly 40 per cent of the available minutes this season, which is good for his age, and while he hasn’t set the world alight at either club it’s been good for him to reunite with former boss at Rochdale, Keith Hill, with Scunthorpe. File a 7-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers on the final day of the campaign as “character building”.

He can't 95% of the time.

Hopefully he is gone ASAP to an alternate buyer because he is hugely divisive among the support and I am thoroughly sick to death of going over the same bloody argument for the millionth time.

Edit: Hmmm... probably should have watched the video first :ROFLMAO:

Barcelona won't trigger the buy option clause for Adama Traoré. It was included into loan deal from Wolves for €30m but Barça won't spend big money on Adama as things stand. #FCB

Traoré's out of contract in June 2023 with Wolves, his future will be decided soon.

Grasshoppers avoided the relegation playoff in Switzerland on goal difference. Everyone parked there bar Kawabe and Jeon Sang-Bin is due to come back now. We can only loan them a maximum of three players next season so some might be "sold" there with suspiciously low buy-back clauses that only we can activate.

Dadashov got relegated with Tondela.

Adama scores in Barca's 3-2 victory over Australia All Stars...

He might totally suck, or he might continue to improve. There is only one way to find out - and we need all the goals and creativity we can get.

We could spend a lot of money and have no guarantees whoever we bring in will be as good let alone any better. Keep him and see how he does. If he’s not good enough move him on in January when prices are high.
