Man arrested for Racism

Perhaps the root of this is that, although the purpose of the protest has shifted from initially supporting BLM to encompass a much wider agenda, the gesture used remains the one that, rightly or wrongly, is inextricably associated in the popular mindset with BLM alone. I hadn't realised that the Scots stood rather than knelt. I just caught the end of that. Were they booed for it?

In the USA pre BLM becoming a prominent movement it was seen as disrespecting the military, flag and veterans. Racists will always find a reason
Of course, but I'm wondering whether taking the knee as opposed to a less-ascribable gesture is actually giving them one.

The knee represents an uncomfortable truth. Kick It Out etc does well for kids who are in grounds early seeing the t-shirts and absorbing that message, your average mouth breathing racist football fan is in Wetherspoons till 2.45 and gets to the ground once those t-shirts and messaging are off.

They hark on about keeping politics out of football and Kick It Out was better because it was something that they could ignore. The knee is right there, in their faces and they hate it.

Fuck appeasing them, it should be on those fans who agree with the message to do what these peoples parents should have done and drown them (out)

The noisy minority are at least visible the concern for me when at full capacity will be those indifferent.

should be marched Cersei Lannister style in humiliation the twat

Was he hacked? That's the go to excuse for being a racist nowadays.

Yes I know he was in the ground

Either hacked or pissed up because a few cans of Stella does actually turn you into a racist nob jockey

Being pissed is no excuse in the eyes of the law. I’m confident the club will see it in exactly the same way and he won’t be coming to Molineux again.
