Man City 1-0 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Well Raul aside, i'm bloody proud of them particularly the back 3, Sa and Ran, devastating way to lose, but that was another brilliant defensive performance.

Coady and Kilman our players of the season for me.

If ever Kilman scores at the end there, wow.

I see why Moss gave it in real time. No chance it should have stood.

Just seen Raul's red. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but possibly even more stupid.

I don't think anyone is disputing the validity of it (except that the first booking was harsh) but it was eternally stupid, no doubt about it.

As I posted on the other thread, a minute of madness from Raul aside we played really well.

A rubbish decision (but no need for arms in the air) for a penalty, and some positive subs at the end.

Kilman has been immense, would have loved that header to go in at the end. RAN is growing into some player.

Can't fault the effort and discipline and the work of everyone except Raul today. City gifted the win by a ref that's corrupt as fuck (Marriner) and one that's just fucking useless (Moss). MOTM goes to the entire defence plus Sa. Outstanding the lot of them. Thought Moutinho was tireless as well. Kilman very unlucky with the header right at the end. Love him, he's without question our POTS so far.

VAR has mainly been a massive step up this year, in terms of speed and efficiency of use, checking debatable stuff. So of course it makes sense that one of the worst cases of poor uses for it has directly impacted us.

Defensive masterclass

Raul hang your head mate. You owe the boys big time.
Sterling and Grealish are a pair of twats
Moss had a decent first half and it was normal service after that. Never a pen. Marriner on VAR showed Attwell and Dean levels of competence.
expected nothing got nothing but again not happy how the defeat manifested

it’s Max Kilmanjaro as the man is a mountain at the back

Dermot Gallagher doesn’t think it’s a penalty nor does Michael Owen

Walton backtracking now after saying it wasn't a pen. How is that not fucking clear and obvious, one viewing and you can see it's not hit his arm.

That fat cheating bastard knew full well, when he decided to cheat, that his VAR buddies would not overturn it. If ever an act has brought the game into disrepute, it's right up there. Anyway, he is simply a pathetic excuse of a human being and I hope he gets run over by a bus! As for our bravehearts, apart from Raul (bloody stupid) Jimenez, they were magnificent. If only that Kilman header had a bit more power. So proud of the boys today. We take that spirit to the South Coast next match, we'll be alright.
