Man Utd 0-1 Wolves: Verdict and Vic burnt his backside thread.

Thank you folks, much appreciated. It is a bit grim but you have to get on with it!

At least the team cheered me up with that performance. :) Seems it cheered you folks up too!

Get well soon! Hopefully you will soon be not so red victor! Nasty and not the way to start 2022!

All the best red, I was a little bit luckier than you this summer, but being in a fire at close quarters is probably the scariest thing I have experienced. Take it easy and get well.

It's when you can't get it to go out. Life then becomes prioritised to find the place to get it out the quickest. That was for me over a barrier, turn a hose on, and stream myself with water.
I learnt a very valuable lesson that day believe me.

I got saved by a helicopter, came at exactly the right time, o had no water and was trying to keep my house from burning with a shovel and an axe. Bloody amazing how quick you can chop a tree down that's hanging over your house and starting to burn.
The chopper guy was passing over, saw me and changed his plans and dumped water on me and the house, he came back eight times but I was sheltering on the verandah as the water they drop weighs a ton. Spent the next eight days catching a nap in the day time and staying awake all night as that's when you see the fire start re burning in the tree roots and can get to it quick.
Certainly would not want to go through that again and am busy creating a 30 metre safe zone around my house.
Pleased you made it out even if not totally in one piece, take care.

Wow, that is a story, and with thankfully a happy ending!
This Tenerife I guess? Horrendous situation there..
I'm glad I made it out too!

LOL..... Who changed the thread title? :ROFLMAO:

Did I imagine a story about you taking a shit outside and then a bunch of fire fighting aeroplanes flew over you at low altitude?

Yep, the planes and choppers used my house to turn to the sea, has a valley in front of it, at one time I thought some joker had painted a turn left sign on my roof, thank fuck they did as that is what saved my house in the end.
As for the outdoor crapper, what can a guy do, no electricity, no water, the forest still smouldering, I dug a hole in the safest place close to the house and what do you know, first time try out and a formation flew over.
Ten or eleven planes, all at about 10 metres above the new crapper, waggling their wings, you got to laugh.
And just for jinky when you are on fire, literally, a wank is a little far from your mind. But thanks for the thought.

Brother is ManUre STH who usually never has a bad word for the club. We rarely talk but I asked him if he could agree that Wolves were the better team that evening. He replied that with the exception of Leeds, every away team has been the better team at Old Trafford this season!
