If it's on then we get the pleasure of the Mike Dean show

His ban is tomorrow unless it's been called off?

Dean again ffs?

Marriner on VAR by any chance?

Whoops. That time of year where all track of days goes awry!
Yesterday confused me, it was a Tuesday with a 3pm kick off.

Plus it was bin day but neither got collected

Apparently it's Wednesday today, but it could easily be Sunday

If Raul has got COVID over Christmas, does this mean Fabio will be starting (assuming he is clear) as - even with a negative - he still has to complete a self isolation period?

From memory (/rumours as to who has covid online) I think the attacking options are only Fabio, Trincao and Podence?

If Raul has 2 negative tests then he's available from NYD

If we were unable to field a team today, how can we do so on the 3rd either ?

Most of the cases were highlighted Christmas day weren't they? So they're allowed to play if they test negative on day 6 and 7 after that I think?

That appears to be correct. LFT on those days is clear then off you go. Straight from isolation to match with no training. Happy days.

I hope it's called off cos our players prep has well and truly been fucked up by all this Covid malarkey. Best to just bite the bullet and have a proper Christmas break. Ease ourselves gently back into things with the FA Cup game.

My take on the situation is that PL matches should go ahead as they should be able to field a squad of 14.
However I don;t think we should end up being screwed by it so hope our match is called off

Players will be out of isolation so will get a day or two training. Doubt we need much prep anyway. Gameplan will be same it’s been for the last month. Park the bus and try and steal something and hopefully Raul turns up.

We had 5 with Covid and 6 out injured for Arsenal so that means the PL aren't including the likes of Moulden, Cundle and Campbell as first team players even though they've had lots of bench time.
We could have had a team of:
----------------------------Sa-------------
---------Saiss-----Coady-----Marcal----
-----Hoever----Neves----Moutinho----Semedo
-----Podence-----Silva---Trincao

Covid Kilman, Donck, Raul, Adama, Ruddy
Injured Neto, Hwang, Mosquera, Jonny, Boly, RAN

We should have been made to play that really. Arsenal have been penalised for our shite recruitment. I'm assuming Silva would have tested out by then given he was positive on the 18th
