What were your most memorable moments during Mick McCarthys tenure?

Such as, the most memorable games (winning or losing) or goals (scoring and conceding). The ups and the downs.

Five one vs forest. That first 45 minutes was probably the most dominant display I've seen at any level.

Unfortunately the most memorable game will probably be the 5-1 defeat to WBA.

Closely followed by the 3-2 at Charlton, the 1-0 away at Liverpool and the 3-1 at home to WBA.

3-1 vs WBA
2-1 vs Man Utd
3-3 vs Spurs
plus a few others

When I think of my most memorable Wolves goals/games/moments (good and bad) bizarrely they all seem to be from the Dave Jones era.

As for Mick, the game at Derby away is the first that sticks in my mind as that's when I knew we were going up. The wins against Man Utd and Chelsea were pretty memorable too. Although there were plenty of good times, and the good far outweighed the bad.

Not at all - I remember the good times far more than I remember the bad. And there were plenty of very good days under McCarthy.

Away days at Luton, Scunthorpe, Barnsley were awesome, the day we got the trophy on the last game of the season against Doncaster, the 3-2 thriller at Charlton, and notable victories in the Premier League over Man Utd, Chelsea, Villa, Liverpool, Spurs.

My personal favourite was the Doncaster game. I loved that day - an 18 hour party basically! I've still got the flag at home.

I look back on the McCarthy years with a great deal of fondness - a shame it ended the way it did but plenty of happy memories.

Too many great memories to mention. I had a great time under McCarthy from the first game to the last. The most successful Wolves manager in a generation and still he gets dogs abuse from some sections of our support.

I think my favourite game under Mick was the win at Anfield. A thoroughly deserved victory away at Liverpool, just one of the many victories against the top teams that season. I also went to Chelsea at home which wasn't pretty but a great game in terms of result and atmosphere.

I wish I was the same. Unfortunately, just like with the majority of his players, my memories of Mick McCarthy will always be tainted by our downfall. As much as I want to I can't forget the 3-2 vs Villa, the 5-0 vs Fulham and the 2-2 vs Swansea.

The truly bizarre tonking we took at the hands of Southampton and the late, late win at Charlton are two which immediately spring to mind.

The disgusting atmosphere at the Wolves - Swansea game and Hunt scoring against Blackburn are two which stand out.

I guess that's where we differ. It's not like I've forgotten some of those awful days, but I just remember the good days better. Following the club throughout the dross that was the mid/late 1990's, any major success sticks in the memory far more. I find it odd to think of the bad days before the good days , but I suppose we can't all think the same way!!

It's more like I can't separate the good and bad. For me, the way it ended and in particular the way the players conducted themselves sort of devalues their previous achievements in my mind.

Personally, I just cannot ever forget the contribution made by the management and players in 08/09. Even the contributions of the likes of Karl Henry who didn't exactly leave on the best of terms. They were great days.

This for me. Kightly and Jarvis were totally unplayable that day and Stearman nearly ended up MOTM for a truly outstanding display at CB (even though he scored on own goal).

A few that stand out off the top of my head:

- The 0-6 versus Southampton, that was a great game and could easily have been 6-6, but it was also amazing to see a side down 6-0 cheered off the pitch for their performance.
- 1-0 vs Albion at home, total mick performance, we battled and worked our backsides off to win that game.
- Playoff home leg v Albion, the atmosphere was electric and having had 15 fit players to start the season we had no right to be there, just a shame about the result.
- 5-1 v forest, as someone said earlier we were rampant during the first half, it was the first time i thought " we can do this, this is a good side".
- Derby 3-2 it was a crazy game and the game where i felt we were finaly over the line.

There are a few prem games too that stand out but i was living abroad so i wasnt at any of them and they dont stick in my memory as well.

My fave era supporting Wolves was under Mick.

Standing on the pitch chanting SUPER MICK when he threw the mic away after we'd secured promotion was the highlight, closely followed by Survival Sunday, We were in the top left corner of the Steve Bull upper when Hunt unleashed that show and we went fucking nuts!

The 2-1 reversal of Man Utd comes next, followed by the 1-0 over Chelsea a few weeks later.

There were some crap times for sure, losing at home to Portsmouth who hadnt been paid for a month, losing to Birmingham after controlling the game, the WBA game.....

I don't concentrate on them, I prefer to remember some really good times and wish him well.

I have great memories of Mick and will always be grateful for what he did for the club

5-1 against Forest was special, we played so well that day
Beating Man Utd and singing who the fuck are Man Utd in the South Bank tunnel on the way out
Beating Chelsea shortly after and John Terry's face
0-6 loss against Southampton and singing 7-6, we're going to win 7-6, great day
