Ladies and gents , I don't know if we have done this before. Apologies if we have but memory isn't as good in middle age! I always pride myself as being an honest sportsman. If I lost any game fairly I could accept it,football, cricket, boxing.

After the Bournemouth game I found myself thinking how a team I had no feelings for had suddenly become one I loathed. It was down to the attitude of the whole team, the theatrics, the dives the whole ethos sucked. So I thought how many other teams really get under my skin and why. I wonder what yours are?

I always detested Arsenal. Horribly entitled set of supporters.
Huddersfield as they are sooooo lucky
Villa are the Midlands club that always get my gander up. Another arrogant, entitled , blinkered set up from the days of Saunders and Ellis. Nothings changed!
Of the current premier league Cardiff's anti football and Colin both make me bristle. You can add Bournemouth after this weekend.

Bolton, Leeds, the Shit. Bournemouth are on the list as well at the moment.

Bolton. McGinlay et al
Birmingham. Generally smug and unpleasant, with no reason to be smug whatsoever. Any club that's less successful than Coventry don't have anything to shout about.
Chelsea. Without dodgy Russian money they've never really done much. Yet they're full of smug plastics. Lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

I actually don't mind Albion - similar (if less successful) kind of club, similar kind of supporters, no more idiots than we have really.

In order:

Bolton
Birmingham
Bournemouth

Plenty of teams that I'm not keen on - Huddersfield, Chelsea, Stoke, but the three above are the only ones I actively despise. Similar to Cyber, I didn't have any feelings for Bournemouth whatsoever until that infamous game at Molineux, but I cannot abide the media love in with them, I can't stand Eddie Howe but it's their constant shithousing that annoys me the most. I'm not keen on Liverpool either due to the bizarre delusion of their fans. I wouldn't have had any issue with them winning the league, but their fans will make everything totally unbearable if they do.

As Deutsch has said in the past, I've nothing against Villa now that their fuckwit of a CEO and Bruce are out of the way - the 'bantz' between our fans on Twitter bores me TBH. I don't particularly like Albion but it never goes deeper than that, though I do hate the BCD and never want it to be played again.

Liverpool. I want nothing more than to watch them go out the CL and come 2nd in PL to City.

Otherwise Villa.

Arsenal - Growing up in a school mainly of Arsenal fans (and a few Man Utd of course) was horrible, especially when they were actually good.
West Ham - Played football with West Ham fans from Essex/Dagenham way and so entitled for so little reason. Plus now owned and run by those idiots.
Bournemouth - even though we've only played them four times that I can ever remember they have left a particularly bad taste. I still can't understand why media have failed to cotton on to their cheating.

Man utd and Birmingham definitely up there. And Albion I suppose (particularly recently as I have a friend who thinks they are the nuts and they are 'coming for us')

bournemouth seemed to get a penalty every other week the season they went up, or have the other team down to ten men.
it's right for any football fan to hate their tactics

growing up disliked villa more than the other midlands teams - they were always the most entitled
i'm sure we all know some twatty albion and blues fans that seem to hate us with a passion
yes to bolton
otherwise, most of the big clubs at different times depending on which annoying characters they have
say, liverpool, i quite like klopp, but would hate them under brendan

It was under Benitez that I had the biggest issue with Liverpool. Just one of those individuals that makes me dislike the club he's in charge of.

Bolton and Blues are really the only two clubs who are consistently shithouses across the board, no matter who the owner, manager, players or whatever are.

No love for Leeds fans at all although for the good of the game it'd be useful to have them in the top flight.

Everyone else, it tends to be transient depending on personnel. Bournemouth are horrible at the moment but that isn't going to linger forever. Dave Whelan is a prick but he's gone, cross Wigan off the list. Despised Portsmouth when they were busy being dodgy bastards but that's receding into the distant past now. Villa as Langers mentioned (and I've had to soften towards Liverpool under Klopp, very easy to dislike them under any of Houllier, Dalglish, Rodgers or Benitez). Any club owned by the Pornodwarves will be tainted while they're around. Any club managed by Warnock can fuck off, Pulis too. QPR, Palace, Leicester, Sheff Utd, Stoke, Coventry, Reading...disliked all of them at various points for one reason or another, not really on the radar now.

West Ham,just because of all the playing the West Ham way,and the we won the World Cup bollocks,Harry Redknapp,Karen Brady being a smug bint and the porno dwarves

I hate Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal the most. Not particularly because of the club's as such, but the plastics who live nowhere close to them, have no connection with the club through parentage, support them just because they are a top club, haven't been to many if any games and then try and lord it over you if they win something / beat you. They can all fuck the fuck off. City and Spurs don't seem to have as many, although I'm sure City will in time. It's why I hope Liverpool balls the league up.

To be honest, I can't summon up the energy for anything other than dislike and contempt for any of the aforementioned wannabes and has-beens. They'll all soon enough have had their day in the sun and be back in the weeds with the likes of Wigan (who, no doubt, would have featured strongly in this thread a few seasons ago but now don't warrant a mention). The only club I'd truly wish disaster to visit is Man U - they've been a self-entitled bunch of plastics ever since Tommy Docherty became manager. Still living off Munich victimhood too (which is the big drawback with Liverpool, although I do like Klopp's team. It's ironic that they hate each other so much.) I don't hate any of the other successful clubs - I just want us to be better than them.

Actually Bristol City can have a spot on the secondary list.

1) They have possibly the most simultaneously stupid, delusional and bitter club forum on the entire Internet (this appears to be a permanent thing, it never changes)
2) Bristol itself is a stain on the UK, pound for pound the worst performing sporting city in the entirety of both the UK and continental Europe
3) Primark Pep himself, Lee Johnson

Bolton
Spurs
Man Utd
Blues
Leicester

To be fair there's loads I dislike, not sure I hate any - Bolton aside perhaps.

Bolton. McGinlay et al

I reckon we'll on on a fair few hate lists too, with our Chinese money and 'Portuguese mafia' connections. We were definitely lucky to be targeted by Fosun.

Never going to like Albion, never minded Villa, never noticed Blues, but I'd sooner we were the top West Midland club in the PL than the only one, and it would be nice to see some of the other localish sides there too. It seemed a bit more interesting when there were 6 or 7 Midland teams in Division One.

Good call. Remember the fuss they made when we wouldn't give them 75% of Molineux during that one season when they actually looked like mounting a promotion push?

They've got a lot of dual club wankers too. A proper odd set of fans.

I have serious contempt for blues and bolton.

As has been alluded to, some clubs will temporarily be added to that list, as bournemouth are currently, and any club loosely associated with redknapp. That will be because the character of the club has become tarnished, in bournemouth's case, by the poor acknowledgement they are giving to sportsmanship, and the rules of the game (also known as cheating), though they likely delude themselves into arguing that the rules are flexible and they're bending (little tip, you're not. You cheat, and it runs through your current core).

My objection to the big clubs is the plastics, but I don't despise the club themselves, it is the plastic fans I can't abide. But I see them as distinct from the club. hey want to attach themselves to the club exactly because the club is successful and they aren't. They want the success via association. Their big downfall is they tend to be overly vocal about their love for their club, which contains about as much ethics and loyalty as karen brady does.
