New Kit Thread - slag off what you want in here

sometimes in business you just have to say, "We fucked up. We got it wrong. We'll have to put it right." Yes, other fans will fall about laughing but if it was me and I had Fosun's money I'd do a new shirt in the same colour as last year and offer free exchanges. Plain and simple, they've just got this one badly wrong

I doubt they will do that and you will still see thousands of people in the shirt.

There will be a load of returns. From what I can from the reaction of those actually receiving the shirt today, it seems pretty universally reviled

Why have one colour on the badge and neck and another on the shirt. It's as if it's an away kit with the real colours on the badge. Bizarre!

The pattern in the fabric and the sort of washed out effect it creates it's giving me this vibe...

The vast majority of people who buy the shirt don't care about the design beyond it being the new one.

The only people who are even slightly likely to return it are us saddoes who really pay attention, and even then I don't think that many will.

Talk of scrapping and reissuing the shirt is daft, not least considering how keen initial sales figures have been.

Really, really dont get the different shades of....whatever colour that is, how does no one along the line think "nah that loks a bit shit" before production.
It actually does look like a knock off from abroad, so imagine what the real knock offs are gonna look like!

Better than the original?

Yep, I'd run last years shirt with the new sponsor. I can't understand how this got through the design section at Adidas and then through the club. People actually thought this was a good idea and signed this off at club and sports brand. I can only think they were all blind.

Looking at that just glad that I don't bother to buy the new years shirt every time & have more than enough.

Starting to see people liking the top so the club will just point to the sales figures (record pre sales) . A few will be returned but 15 shouty people on here and a few on Twitter wont make much difference.

Last years colour was perfect, so bloody annoying that they changed it to bright orange again.

It's not just here. The dark side HATE it as well.

Plenty of hate but it won't make a blind bit of difference. More people coming out saying they like it. As we well know, disgruntled people shout louder and longer.

Tbh some people would buy it and say it's "fine" if Wolves put out a bin bag with the logo on. Thousands will wear it because it's the latest top regardless.

What will be telling is if they get record pre-orders and then it falls off a cliff as those "waiting to take a look" decide (or at least a significant number decide) not to bother.

I am hanging my hopes on the away strips not being dire. Really interested in the third strip as that should be the Europa League away (plus Watford away obvs). If it is decent, and we make the league stages, I may get that one with the Europa League sleeve badges. You just don't know when that opportunity might come along again.

They certainly won't have big numbers like they did last year but with the kit change every year it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. All you hope is the club take the comments on board when the next kit is done (and don't use filters to hide the obvious issue on the pics)

If it looks shit on tv, and we've potentially got 50+ games this season in all competitions, then acting now quickly might still be an option. Major thing to do a recall, but better than a season of using that design (seriously, who signed it off?)
