New Kits 2016/17

It's alright. I'm not big on five-bar vertical stripes but the gold trim is a nice touch.

It's very Port Vale.

I know it's unavoidable really but personally I don't think the "shirt looks like (club)" thing holds much water. It's inevitable with 92 (94?) FL clubs changing shirt designs every year.

I dunno. Newcastle have never had gold/orange on their kit as far as I remember. They've had blue trim now and then but usually they're plain black & white.

Colours are a major part of a club's brand, seems like something that would matter a great deal to someone like Jez Moxey.

I mean I get it to an extent but I don't see change as bad, not in that sense. I thought the hoopla over Cardiff switching to a red shirt was melodramatic at best, so what do I know?

If you thought that then you really don't understand the importance of club colours over here yet. Cardiff in red was almost blasphemous.

Cardiff wear blue, Wrexham wear red and Swansea wear white...Cardiff are the Bluebirds not the "Dragons".

Say a bloke took over Wolves and said "Hey, I don't like your colours but thick blue and white stripes are popular in my country so that's what we're gonna wear. Oh and that nickname, Wolves? Don't like it, throstles are big where I'm from" there would be absolute mayhem!

I don't get how American fans are so happy to have their teams moved around the country at the whim of an owner

Anyone seen the new Bradford kit? I can't decide if it's horrendous or the best kit I've ever seen.

This one?

Doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid.

Looks like a sweet wrapper

Looks like a barber's pole.

One thing you can say about the Bradford kit is that it is distinctive & won't be forgotten. (That plus an innofensive sponsor as I have no idea who it is supposed to be promoting!)
