Groundhog day.

Shame it was such a lopsided and uneven performance. Horrific first 30, ok next 20, concede a crap goal, then have a go and could have won in the end after a Neves collectors item.

Neves probably my MOTM just ahead of Traore. He was crap first half but then so was everyone really.

Ended feeling that with a little more ambition we could have won.

Pluses. Semedo was good, Neves got in the box and scored his first header for us. Traore looked great for 20 minutes. Got a point.

Negatives. Poor in possession. Poor marking for their goal. Outfought in first hour. Only got a point.

Point probably just about fair. Seriously unlucky with the Fábio header at the end though.

Ah well. This season barely matters now so not much to get worked up about.

Looking at the replay, that Fabio header goes literally anywhere else and it’s 2-1.

4 weeks ago I wasn’t interested in seeing Fabio again this season. I’d be starting him ahead of WJ from here. I know not starting and having that pressure lifted off him is part of the reason he’s looking better, but WJ is literally offering nothing.

100% agree. WJ hasn’t impressed me one iota.

He gets into goalscoring positions. It hasn't come off yet but his movement for that chance was spot on.

Traore overall for me - although he had a quiet spell in second half. Nice to see Neves score again.

Fabio is class & needs more game time.

The Billy Wright statue moves more than Jose.

Couldn't have argued with a defeat there, but then we did have the best chance of the game right at the death!

Think this game just sums up how over this season is. As soon as Boly is back, just play a back four. Get Gibbs-White a run in the team as the ten if Podence isn't also back by then.

A more aggressive defender in the box next to Boly solves a lot of our problems I think. None of the three today defend well enough in the penalty area. Also allows us to play higher up the pitch if we get that signing right.

Not too fussed, we should be beating Newcastle really with the quality of the 2 teams but we aren't really playing for anything. The last 30 minutes was properly entertaining at least.

Silva was a little unlucky, he should have probably got a better connection on in but the keeper has shown great reactions and even then it's come off the bar. Did more in his 12 minutes or so than Jose did all game. Don't want to see Jose again he's not good enough, we won't be signing him

Seriously unlucky with the Fabio header for sure, but seriously lucky with the shot that hit Saiss who literally knew nothing about it.

So impressed that Jinky could post on here and commentate on Sky in a Scottish accent at the same time !

About the right result, I fully expected Newcastle to be more up for this than us.

What's really frustrating is that when we actually tried we were levels above them.

No idea why we didn't start playing sooner

Need to be in the right place to make a block

Pleased with Semedo tonight, he really looks to have settled down now. As for the rest, standard Wolves performance, fucking useless for 30 minutes, played well enough after that. Oh and I’m not a fan of Jose at all.

On the plus side, we are one game closer to this drudgery being over. It’s shite.

Usual week off performance. WJ literally a statue in this game. It's like we have 10 men. Next 3 games will be a struggle to get anything points wise. 3 points here would have helped. Pah....

Got to say I was disappointed overall, thought for large parts of the game we were disjointed, huffed and puffed. At times we looked really good going forward but not often enough and bot sustained.
