As Deutsch says, about time for this thread. I'll leave it to him to put up the head to heads.

I really, really want to beat these though. The sooner they get relegated the sooner Steve Bruce fades away into obscurity, or Soccer Saturday as I don't really watch that much.

With a full week off just been had, the team basically picks itself unless Nuno wants to change things up.

Rui

Donk - Coady - Saiss

Semedo - Moutinho - Neves - Jonny

Neto - Traore

Jose

Ah, a Saturday night game. The atmosphere would have been magnificent.

Agree with everyone else, it'll be the same team starting as recently, should be enough to win....I'm still waiting for my 3-0 comfy win.
I'm not in the 'hate Newcastle/Bruce' camp but it would be nice to put these to the sword.

I’m not in the hate Bruce camp either. He’s a pretty poor manager but a decent man.

I’m hoping for a comfy 2-0 with a José double.

Yeah i guess it will be Bears team..would be really nice with another win 🙂

Little to debate about the team. Unchanged for me. Am I right in thinking we have a better record at their place than we do at home? I do have a soft spot for Newcastle but not this weekend.

They were better than Man Utd in the first half the other day, and in Saint Maximim they have a very good player. Like Traore but with better end product IMO. Almiron is a headless chicken but is a nuisance. That's it. That's all they have. But you know how we seem to play down to their level every time we play them so I think a draw is the best we'll get.

I'd still like to see us give a back four a go for a few games before the season ends, although maybe waiting for Boly to return is best.

Fine with Bear's team and gives more opportunity for the Semedo/Neto and Jonny/Adama partnerships to develop, but sooner or later we need to give some game time to the loanees, even just for 45 mins here and there

I agree, would be good to try 4 at the back for a decent amount of games when Boly is back. Yeh, want to see more of Vitinha and RAN, also MGW

Never quite understood the hate for Bruce. His teams are functional but by no means comparable with Allardyce or Pulis. He’s always been at teams where mid-table is considered success. I know that he’d have been a better bet than the three that did get the job after we backed out of appointing him!

Yeah I would have taken him at the time, he would have done decent job imo, we moved on since then obviously
