Actually, thinking the above idea through, it isn't a great idea at all! It's essentially just a three week game with top score winning. The matchups wouldn't affect anything. You'd have to do aggregate score difference, but the same opponent every week would be unfairly weighted.

Three game weeks mean you could do a straight knockout (QF/SF/F) based on positions. There's still the main game for those knocked out to still play for, plus the H2H Playoffs from Wk18 onwards. Might just have to do that.

Moved the league cup to within the season so week 17 will be the last week of the main h2h so its not a cup straight into play offs

No it won't. I have him as well along with Kamara. Had Higbee most of the week because the Eagles choose not to draft or trade for linebackers, but subbed him out. Now they have Slay TEs against them will be the new WR against them
