Norwich 0-0 Wolves: Verdict Thread

There's a lot wrong with this starting with the fact you said last week it was a must win game, so by your own metric the first sentence is, to be polite, inconsistent

Secondly nobody has said our away form is poor. What has been said is that the results have been better than the performances which won't be sustainable in the long run.

Who is on the bench from the U23s is irrelevant, doesn't matter who it is, they aren't going to play, so whether that's Moulden, Campbell, Richards or whoever they aren't coming on. Cundle is at the front of the queue, has been on the bench for every league game I think and has played 0 minutes in them.
What I should have added to my post and didn't was ' based on how we played ' - my apologies . Personally I thought that based on the play we were lucky to come away with the point - yes I felt in advance that it was a must win based on December fixtures and I still think that we should have been on the front front . Not starting Adama and Podence being out with COVID changed things to be fair .
I take your point on the U 23's - but why put them on the bench so ?
Just start with the senior players on the bench even if that means 5 players - if however it is to give experience to young lads , then lets see Moulden only on occasion - not every match .

To be fair, I don't think any of the u23s have missed any PL2 games to be on the bench for a PL game.

The fact Cundle is missing tonight either means he's injured or has a chance of playing on Wednesday

This season. Nuno did it all the time to the likes of Bright and Otasowie

Yep, I don't think Nuno gave two shits about the u23 games
No, but I don't think it did either player any favours. At least Bruno recognises the tokenism of that place or two on the bench. Cundle is a bit different on Wednesday as there is a path to him coming on. If Donck went down I still think he'd more likely put Saiss in the middle and bring Marcal on though

Surely Cundle is first option off the bench if there's a problem with either Moutinho or Donk? Alternative is shoe-horning Semedo or Hoever in, or disrupting the defence to move Saiss forward. A final thought is we go four at the back and play Coady in midfield. Looks like Cundle is the best option!

Not sure he is an option in a flat 2. He's very small and the physicality would be too much. Assume it'd be more likely we see Saiss into midfield and marcal on.

I have no worries about pushing Saiss forward into midfield and playing Marcal at LCB. It's been a long time since Saiss played there but I'm sure he'd be fine for 20-30 mins.
