Nuno to leave Wolves

Yeah, I know. But I've met some people who use "Vale"as goodbye of sorts in slang. You meet someone on the street, chat a bit then "bale!". A short "later" kind of deal, "okay nice seeing you bye" in one short word.
Is that in Portuguese?

For us that would be hablar luego amigo Vale

The Lazio Ultras will love having a black guy in charge

Mind you, Pedro Almeida is full of shit. Started following him at the beginning of the week then realised

So Nuno was being phased out of transfers and the new manager won't be involved... Triffic bruv

We've gone from needing Nuno to sort his head out and some signings in key areas to... a new manager and wholesale changes if Patricio, Neves, Saiss, Moutinho go. It's risky.

And nobody with any top level footballing experience from a recruitment perspective involved. It's a recipe for disaster.

Nuno wasn't involved in transfer/scouting process until the very final decision on players (ie. they present the top target to him and he says yes or no) as far as I am aware

All those may have still been liable to leave with Nuno still around, it's literally just a toss up between Nuno getting his act together or a new guy finding a new way. Everything else could happen either way.

factor in potential appointment of a manager unfamiliar with EPL, transfer business being done late so limited time to bed in. massive gamble. I’ve heard it said risk and opportunity is the same word in Chinese, though I think when I looked it up it was bollocks. But sort of seems apt. anyway, at least we’d have welcomed this risky position 5 years ago.

Yes, but the JP article says that was going to be taken away

Ive never been Charles Ross cynical of Mendes and even felt his influence was overstated at times but it seems like with the footballing vacuum at the top table this is when he makes his move. If Mendes is as smart as people say he mightve just played the long game and waited for this moment knowing it was coming. After all he better than anybody knows Nuno's limitations and Shi's been in football barely 5 years.

Have to say, I'm getting there and would be fully converted with a Lage appointment. The amount he made in the Fabio and Doherty deals were the first real warning sign. We should meet up in town and burn effergies 😄

With all that has gone on this last week, which i still find unbelievable, i feel like a kid in a busy shopping centre who has just lost my mother.
