We must surely have one of these left over from March, but the search function always defeats me.

Adama and Pod to start for me, but I'm really not too fussed about team selection, it's all about being positive & bouncing back from the Chelsea debacle.

Not nervous at all. But then it is 6/45 in the morning...

They are confirmed as missing Sa and Samedo. Good news for us.

343. Podence and Neto to start, Jota and Traore off the bench as and when required

Patrício

Boly Coady Saïss

Adama Dendoncker Neves Moutinho Jonny

Raúl Jota

Bring on Podence/Neto/Vinagre and switch to a 3-4-3 if Olympiacos score.

Think Nuno will play 343. Jota and traore From the start

Need to be right on it tonight said it on numerous threads that Olympiacos are very capable. Desperate for us to have a crack at either Roma or Sevilla.

Yeah Olympiakos have had a very good season, dangerous team no doubt. Our game plan won't change though I imagine, I trust our organisation too. Agree with you, also desperate for a quarter final against Roma/Sevilla.

Are away goals counting ?

With away goals counting they'll become more desperate as the game goes on, will give us space to exploit hopefully. I'd go 3-5-2.

3-4-3 with Traore Raul and Podence as the front 3.

Podence didn't deserve to lose his place to begin with. We still look much better 3-4-3 than 3-5-2 and it allows us to get our better players on the field.

I am nervous. I have been since the first leg when I think they got away with a draw when they should have lost . I remember their exploits at the Emirates and they did to Arsenal what Arsenal did to us. Hit them on the break , chased and harried. They looked decent to be fair. I think that we should try and be positive from the start. An early goal for us would keep us on the front foot. An early goal for them and the nerves start jangling. Good that there is no crowd as it can be very tense at home if that happens. That at least wont translate to the pitch. I really want us to go further. I think we thoroughly deserve to but we dont always get what we deserve. I am hoping for a 3-1 win as I think they will score. In reality it could go the distance to a penalty shoot out.

I am nervous.

Oddly, I am not. I was for some for the PL games since we started again but totally calm about this game. For me, I wanted us to get to the Group Stages of this Tournament and everything after that a bonus. I don't think we can win it (would go fookin mental if I was proved wrong mind) so it is what it is.

As for the game - They have to score to progress, would rather weren't going into the 94th min with the game Agg score 1-1 though. On the 3-5-2 or 3-4-3. The 2 up front only really works if Jota is in form and he is patchy at best, so probably go with the 3. At least we won't see a team sit deep with 10 behind the ball and be happy to take a 0-0 at Molineux

I'm rarely nervous before a game these days, we can beat anyone. Of course we can have a bad day same as anyone but we rarely get played off the park these days. Olympiacos are a good team with loads of European experience so it won't be easy. I don't really know what their strengths and weaknesses are so don't know what our formation will be but fortunately Nuno will. I will be disappointed if we don't progress because we have an away goal but it will still have been a good season whatever.
Should we get past Olympiacos then I'll have no nerves at all, will just enjoy us playing one of Europes big hitters in the final stages of a major competition

My thoughts are the same Kenny.

If we win tonight, it's another bonus. Not feeling nervous, just looking forward to it.

Went to stick BT sport on this afternoon to find I’m “not subscribed”.
I had switched my broadband from BT to Sky and saved a fortune and my deal included BT Sports package but, so I didn’t “pay twice” it doesn’t start until the 16th! :icon_rolleyes:

Someone earlier said the match was free on the BT YouTube channel. Hope they're right!

Not gonna be an easy game, remember they knocked out Arsenal away...feels like most greek sides likes to defend and then maybe nick a goal..better away almost..hopefully we can power on and get an early goal

Don't think they'll sit back. They're a possession based side and they need to score. It'll be us looking to hit on the break.

You can blame my Dad if I am wrong. He sent me a message the other day to say he will be watching on that channel. I haven't checked as I won't be...
