Other games that affect us thread....

WHU safe so that's six points for next season already...

Unless Chelsea win the Champions League . Which is really REALLY likely.

Well, I'd be fairly confident of Man United beating Arsenal in the Cup Final, but not Chelsea. How inept was City's defence last night? And come on you Foxes...

Spurs 3-0 Leicester. Kane turns agent Bennett inside out and curls it in. Weekend couldn't have gone any worse

Absolutely every result has gone against us since the Burnley game.

Leicester vs Sheff Utd arguably went our way.

Anyway we have to do our own work, not the Albion way of falling over the line despite it being totally unmerited which they've employed numerous times in recent years.

If you want to be a player at the top of the table then you’ve got to pick up wins when they are required. Nothing to fear going to Chelsea anyway if we do the business at home first.

Chelsea win in midweek and their game against us is a dead rubber for them. Granted Liverpool away isn't easy, but they gave up as soon as they won the league

A lot of top teams played terribly this season, we could easily be third if not for the stupid var decisions going against us. Still cant blame anyone but ourselves, no strong signings, chasing every game, no depth on the bench, not showing up at all against some weaker opposition (again), etc etc.

Certainly is. Only lost to Everton and Watford in the bottom half, and done the double over all the current bottom three.

draws with Southampton (ONCE) Newcastle Burnley Brighton all twice Palace once. All below us. Its still an issue. even if it was win one lose one we would have more points

Massive gulf between Saints' home and away form, wow!

I would say our main issue compared to the other top teams this season has been our record in the goals scored column and thats something I assume Nuno will be looking to address next season. Not easy obviously especially if we want to keep our strong defensive record but its something we need to look at. Don't really know how you achieve that, whether its just tinkering with our system/game plans, new players in or a whole new style. Looking forward to how we do it
