Positively beautiful verdict thread

It obviously is a debatable subject though, as Woy was convinced it wasn't even a foul, and all on MOTD claimed it was never a red too.

Was convinced Moutinho wasn't gonna be able to continue after seeing the replay - his ankle bends a fair bit!

One thing I find consistently tedious about many ex-player pundits is that they tend to be stuck on whatever the rules were when they were still in the game, and you end up with these pointless "debates" about stuff that's black-and-white, or as good as. Sometimes the rule change itself is acknowledged and the debate is instead about whether the rules reflect how the game should or shouldn't be played (as with the handball rule changes of recent years), but a lot of the time it's like... you're being paid a lot of money to give your expert analysis, but all you're doing is exposing your ignorance.

Personally I didn't think it was a red but those in charge do , so no debate really to be had.

My only annoyance on this game is the amount of headlines that said "Wolves see off 10 man Palace". we "saw them off" when they had 11 you nobbers

Has been my biggest gripe since the dawn of time, no matter who it is !

I mean the expert pundits are more than welcome to suggest that a studs up slide into an ankle isn't a foul, but simply creating audible sounds from lip flapping doesn't give the statements any validity or credence.

Praying for Neto or Ait-Nouri as the next silver star on Fifa :D

Probably be Barrow though

Andy Townsend was audibly aghast at the challenge, and he's half blind.

It's a red, not vicious, but a red clear as day.
