Rotherham (A) build up 5/12

I wouldn't back us to have four shots on target with the current style of play. It's bloody awful, makes Colin Lee look like Kevin Keegan.

You're probably right but the negativity is just getting a bit wearing...we need a bit of mindless optimism to balance things up......cue Frank

I wouldn't even want to show Ken a video of Saturday (I'm not that cruel) or pick apart his selections (I don't have enough time in the day). Just show him that picture I took on Saturday at 85 minutes when we had ONE player in advance of the ball. Ask him what the hell that is all about.

I understand caution to an extent in management, I understand making a solid defence the priority - makes sense. I cannot subscribe to this current style where we're having multiple games in which the opposition keeper is barely making a serious save and we're happily settling for 0-0 draws at home in this league. He might have a Damascene conversion this week but I doubt it, he's just totally lost the plot. As such I cannot approach any game with any optimism at all.

If we put that into overly positive terms, ten men behind the ball means that we're ready for a counter-attacking MASTERCLASS this weekend...

If we moved forward faster than a drunken slug that might work - we haven't of late so it probably won't.

Yes, we are rather reminiscent of the asthmatic ant with heavy shopping referred to in Blackadder Goes Forth.

No other injury concerns for Wolves. Same squad as last Saturday, minus Williamson and plus Ebanks-Landell. #wwfc

Emiliano Martinez still sidelined with a thigh inury, won't be in contention for Saturday's trip to Rotherham. #wwfc

Rotherham United: Millers manager Redfearn looks for middle ground

Boss Neil Redfearn is using Rotherham United’s opponents tomorrow as a target as he aims to turn the Millers into a club that can compete in the top half of the Championship.

The new manager says the second tier has split into three mini leagues, with his own side, still in the drop zone despite two straight wins, bidding to jump out of the lowest of the three levels.

“There are three divisions within a division,” he said, “If we can get in among the likes of Wolves and Leeds and all those, that’s an achievement.

The wind could play a big factor today. I would guess that whoever masters the conditions will win. Rotherham United have won their last two games, so are due a defeat...

Away from home we need the first goal just to enable us to settle down a little.

Going to be a miserable day weather wise.

Just about to set off....Bit dull and windy here in North Yorkshire and don't expect much better conditions in Rotherham!
Unlike Crox and Frank I'm not overly confident. It will all depend on how the defence copes with the loss of the bloke who had started to get them organised

2-0 Wolves, Afobe and Graham. Nailed on, if your into betting it's basically buying money.........*

*I am no way responsible for anyone who places money on this bet and it doesn't come in!

Interesting to see if Adam le Fondre is featured today against his old club. He's still held in high regard by the Rotherham fans from what I believe.
