Rotherham (A) Matchday thread

We get through to half time still ahead despite losing the plot for the next couple of minutes.

Clearly better than last week (not difficult) - Graham has sounded good which I am pleased about as he was the one bright element of the MK match for me

2 mins added.

BBC have it as a Batth header from the left side of the 6 yard box into the bottom left corner.
It may be creative to say he meant it though...
These 2 clowns didn't mention a header, more like 'it came off him'...

Half time. 15 minutes to try to work out how we can snatch a well worked defeat from the this mediochre performance.

Defence sounds worryingly inept without Williamson though without doubt a better attacking performance than v MK.

ALF has been causing some problems and occupying their CHs more than Afobe, but would still want to see them both on. Edwards has only been mentioned a couple of times & doesn't appear to be affecting the game that much, but seriously doubt that KJ will make that change.

Given that the defence has weaknesses the best way to go is to retain the ball & attack them & not give the ball or opportunities to Rotherham

Afobe hasn't come out with the other subs. I'd say he's coming straight on.

The 1st half...
Seems like we've had 5 attempts + 2 goals, though the last direct shot on goal came in the 22 minute. So 23 mins of fucking about playing shit passes and Ikeme showing off his wares..

Saying that I've been on the concourse so he probably did.

What a miserable afternoon. Cold wind howling, noticeable temperature drop, raining driven, but Wolves monstering the levels of mediochrity.

Either they have a microphone just over the Wolves fans or Rotherham fans don't make much noise

Henry decent run & cross is met by ALF but not enough power to trouble Camp

Henry running harsd chasing a ball that looks like it's going out but he gets to it as it crosses the line and whips in a good pacy cross which ALF reaches just, but can't get quite enough power into it.

THey have a mic over just one Rotherham supporter Peter, "Get into it", Bloody well get to the ball Rotherham" and various other well educated pieces of advice.

All about 3 points and that magical total that says we go again next season.

9,759 attendance with about 1,676 Wolves fans in that.

McD ball in - ALF gets his head to it, but Henry cannot get to that & the ball is bundled away by Rotherham.

Hyam on for Newall for them

WEll done Peter. Took me longer because I put 2 commas into mine + edited the Wolves number.
Big thumb syndrome...

The mic'ed up fan didn't like that long back pass to Camp.
But Camp's delivery did end up with another fruitless Rotherham attack.

Rotherham with more ball in the last few minutes - we have been closing down OK but need to take the pressure off & get hold of the ball as not sure that we are able to withstand much of that

Depends what you want to say. I.e 'It span' or 'it has spun'...:buttkick1:
