Do you have to tick anything or just ignore and then your seat is gone by the 9th June?

Not counting auto renewing scenarios
I just logged in and I've got 'Renew' or 'Not sure, save my seat' so I presume it just expires after the deadline if you don't renew.

So y'all will auto-renew on 16th May, unless you notify them by 8th June?!?

What an odd choice to have.

Def nothing saying mine will auto renew in email or on the site.

It will be a case of the system will put you down as renewing by the 16th May but won't take the money. It will then start payments after the 8th June unless you have gone "hold on a minute you crafty fuckers"

Watch out for the "Cup tie scheme"... Tick the wrong box (or don't untick it) and you will automatically be charged for a ticket for any home, 1st team cup tie

I don’t have auto renew, always paid in one go so no debits to take.

Proper money grab that one. That actually made me feel pretty disgusted. Manure levels of bollocks.

At Manchester United the automatic cup scheme is mandatory they don't even ask they just enrol you into it. I expect that to happen at Wolves at some point but as its newly introduced they'll leave it as optional for now.

When it does happen it will be a huge hit on Twitter.

Cup scheme has been around a few seasons hasn't it?

The cup tie scheme you actively had to join and can always opt out at any point. Not really a stick to beat the club with when there plenty out there

Think it was just last season. And there may have been a similar version in the 90s.

United have from next season allowed STHs to say no ta. Which is an improvement on their previous status of 'you have to pay and if you don't go we'll find out and ban you'. Everyone is still in by default though I think and you have to manually decline each time.

I know you can. But it's not exactly like our fans are fighting among themselves to buy cup tickets, just a tacky add-on that falls in line with the delusional ticket pricing. Grates on me personally but each to their own.

Found it handy for me as then I just always got the ticket rather than forgetting to do it so enrolled. Unfortunately I didn’t actually get that benefit as I had to cancel the debit card linked to the account so it always failed and then had to buy the normal way when they sent me the email to notify me it failed.

But I’m sure it wasn’t added to do people a favour, it was done to sell more tickets or to give them an indication of how many tickets they might sell automatically giving them feedback for pricing.

Oh it definitely wasn't added with fans in mind. And judging by their price hikes I doubt they give a fuck about ticket pricing feedback, could be wrong there of course but just an inkling I'm getting...

Been out, but got the email today.

A 12% increase for me which has made my mind up to not renew. Will take a membership and get tickets when I can.

At least they have taken off the totally mercenary admin fees.

The club prides itself on its community work. Rightly so too, they do some excellent stuff and Coady in particular is right at the forefront of it.

How then, has the ticketing message morphed into "We're putting up prices because we can, not because there's been any material improvement in the product, and if you don't like it then you can fuck off because someone else will take your place"? Because you're talking to predominantly local, working class people when you say that.

Although in fact they still haven't "said" anything. Not a peep about it on the official site. Or Twitter.

Some would call that cowardly, I couldn't possibly comment.

I’ve seen a few polls flying around Twitter and the overall % seem to think the price increase is “fair” and that they “will be renewing”. This forum is definitely an anomaly. It’s so weird.

Whilst the majority of fans accept it, they have no reason to change. Would fully expect the same again next season, the season after that and so on.
