Remember buying fuel from the 1 petrol station that had it, back in the days of living in Wales. Before crisis fuel was around 40p a litre...this place put it up to 99.9p because that's the max he could get on the price sign.
Pissed off at paying that but I would be delighted if it was that price today.
I still miss the days that I started driving when it was 4 shillings & 6 pence per gallon (thats 22.5p for 4 & a half litres for you younger ones) - bloody hell I feel old saying that :D

As to the match - play 3 at the back with hopefully Boly back in - Dendoncker & Moutinho will start, but would like Vitanha & MGW to play a part.

Just give Fabio a run now - it really can't hurt any more than this season has already

Patricio
Semedo - Coady - Boly - Ait-Nouri
Saiss - Moutinho
Traore - Vitinha - Podence
Silva
Could do MGW for Vitinha, not particularly bothered either way.

Can we all stop putting Fabio up top by himself. He can’t do that, not strong enough , not fast enough. You are setting him up to fail. In a two he stands a decent chance. He has grown a lot in the last two months.
3412 is the way to go with this squad I am thinking

For what Jose contributes upfront I'd rather have Donk (obs Silva is the best choice but you know what I mean)

Well done Big Will for scoring a free header. Or indeed having a shot on target, it's been about two months.

He is shit.

As much as I'd like to see Silva, MGW and Vitinha start, we won't. Despite the fact Sheffield United shit, and we're safe, we'll still see get coady, Boly, Joao, Jose and one or both of donk and Saiss, and we'll still be lifeless and predictable, hoping for individual brilliance from Podence or Adama

I so hope you're proven wrong but I won't hold my breath!

Based on this season there's a 83% chance he wouldn't. You are the stats guy, he's missed 5 big chances out of 6.
haha, that is definitely not how it works! He's definitely due another goal I reckon!

Edit: watch him miss his next 'big chance' :D

Why so serious?
I'm not, just messing around.
Being serious, I do think balance and nuance seems to have disappeared on here. Jose isn't great, we shouldn't sign him, but as a link man he's done an ok job on the whole our results have been better and he was robbed of a goal on Friday. He's what the Raul backup looks like as is McBurnie who we were probably erroneously linked with. We've seen Fabio start and it wasn't particularly pretty, he has done well over the last few games coming on and making an impact. Some see that as a reason for him to start, I see it as evidence that he's performing the role he should.

I don't think he has linked play well, what does he do? He hides, he never drops short, he's weak and he's bloody awful in the air.

Apart from that, great. We get a couple of five yard lay offs a half and we're supposed to be grateful? No thanks, he's absolutely shit. Relative to the quality of the rest of the team, he's a contender for being the worst player we've ever had.

Being a dreadful player in a dreadful team who can't afford anything else is one thing. Looking like a League Two player in a top half Premier League team (albeit an underperforming one, but not that badly) is another.

He sticks out like a sore thumb, he can't play. A rubbish footballer, I think people are defending him just to be contrary now.

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and hoped that he would settle in in time, but he hasn't. A centre forward should be demanding the ball and be be selfish. He is supposed to provide a genuine goal threat - so get into position and bloody shoot occasionally! He just hides as though he feels out of his depth.

Bad day?

Well done Big Will for scoring a free header.
Bit harsh. He was the one who made the run across the defender to get there ahead of him, anticipating the cross.

At least it's an improvement, however crap he's been previously.
