Perfect away performance. So sharp first half and then defended the lead brilliantly.

Coady and Saiss immense. Love the change in playing style - Sheffield United were top 10 last season and we annihilated them in that first half.

I can only echo what has already been said. However I am going to mention Mike Dean who had a good game , barely noticed him and called pretty much everything right including Marcals card!

Excellent start and some time on the pitch for Buur, who looked as good there as Traore although the bar is not that high for Adama at RWB

Going forward Traore was good. Defensively not so much although he was scrapping and got some decent clearances in. He does get caught wrong side though.

Fantastic start to the season. Considering we have had no pre season we were so well drilled and organised.

Saiss superb at the back (and in attack!), Marcal quietly impressive on his debut and Podence and Jimenez looking sharp.

The only weak point was Traore's defending as RWB. He looked much better once he moved further forward.

Plenty to be excited about!

Comfortable win. Think you could tell we'd not had a proper pre season at times second half but Rui was rarely threatened. Saiss was my MOTM he was immense .

We looked so good first half, and pretty damned professional second. Saiss' best game in a Wolves shirt? MoTM by a country mile. Raul, Neto, Donk, Marcal and Coady also bang on form. Boly and Traore both annoyingly sloppy and spontaneously brilliant.

I have no idea why he was bombing into the box though!

His header for the 2nd was magnificent and he probably should have scored from the corner in the 2nd half. He could have had a hat trick. Flawless defensively too.

But he’s 22.. he doesn’t look as though he has the touch of a top class footballer.

Excellent result though, and it’s amazing how relaxing an early 2-0 win makes the rest of the game!

Saiss was fantastic, Raul was excellent, the defensive performance was excellent all round And we could have scored another goal or two. I was a bit nervous about the lack of pre season games but the boys did brilliantly.

Saiss was superb as was Moutinho who kept finding space & laying passes off

Adama isn't the RWB answer but we knew that - Boly not quite as imperious as he can be, but he & Coady snuffed out the danger when Adama got it wrong.

Marcal was solid & will grow into the role.

2 really good goals (though Ramsdale probably should have got to the second) then just a proffesional performance after that

That’s spot on for me, not sure we will ever be able to coach better defensive positioning into Adama though. If we did, and if anyone can it’s Nuno, then we have a magnificent team.
