I have just watched the tribute to Sir Jack on Central News. Excellent viewing, and a great send off for Sir Jack.

Central and BBC both did brilliant jobs this evening.

Yes it might well have been that, but it was a lot smaller and the bloke in blue wasn't in it, so as it was on the screen for about a second, I didn't realise it was a cake!!

(I mean realistically Roy, how many flowers would it take to cover all 4 roofs in flowers...? And apart from an aeroplane who'd see it?? Need to get a grip!)

I work just opposite St Peter's Church and Wolverhampton seemed deathly silent minus the bells ringing out. They must have been going the entire time bar his 90 minute funeral. Eerie but very fitting.

I read a lovely piece yesterday about how, when he stayed in the apartment inside Molineux, he'd request for the floodlights to be turned on just so he could take in what he had built. Remarkable man - the likes of which may not be seen in football for a very long time, if ever again.

Few people can stop a town centre, but he deserved to.
