A heroic return for the star players and a comfortable win is promised...

. Rui Patricio

Leander Dendoncker ...... Conor Coady ..... Romain Saiss

Nelson Semedo ...... Ruben Neves ..... Joao Moutinho ...... Jonny Otto

Adama Traore ...... Willian Jose .... Pedro Neto

Not sure that is the 3 at the back we'll see but I wouldn't be surprised to see that XI

I cant see us winning. I will be happy if we get a point.

Nothing game in a nothing season (please hurry up and finish).

Would rather play Fabio than José, you never know, he might show for a pass every now and then.

Vitinha actually in CM please instead of Joao, let's see if he is or isn't good enough.

Would rather not play Adama but we don't have anyone else.

Would quite like to never see Max Kilman in a Wolves shirt again so that back three is fine.

I think it will be exactly Darlo's team (dependant on the plan with Jonny).

I'd rather we just played a back four, worked on getting more bodies in attacking areas and press higher up the pitch, but I think we are going closer to what got us through a similar period without Boly and Jota (this time, Podence) last season.

If we approach the game in a similar way to the Leicester one, I have no issues with the shape though. Definitely need a win and convincing performances after tonight's debacle though.

Now it doesn't matter, if its the plan to go 4 at the back I would go.

.............................Rui
Semedo..........Coady.........Saiss........Jonny
.............Donk.....................Neves
....................... MGW
Traore.............Jose........................Neto

Didn't really want to put Donk in but the only alternative is Otasowie and I'm not sure he's ready yet, unless we take a chance on Vitihna in that position.

I think it will be,

It'll be the same team as Sunday, after tonight I think we'll lose. The little momentum we had we've taken away from ourselves whilst giving some to them who didn't have any. On reflection this is the most pissed off I've been with Nuno

So you think it will be the team I posted in the thread opener... ;)

Think Jonny might be on the bench for this one to prolong his rest period between games.

Nuno might go full Ken and put him on with 20 left with us chasing the game at 1-0.

What a time to be alive, can't wait.

This should have been a mid table game but Nuno turned it into a pressure on game. The outcome result wise probably won’t have any meaningful say come the end of the season but after tonight’s shambles and selection a performance is a must as is some kind of result.
If we rock and throw in another passive display the knives will be out and tonight would’ve been a flawed exercise.
Similar starting 11 to last Sunday will be a good starting point.
As disillusioned as I’ve been for a long time and in reality I think this will be routine for Saints again.

There's no pressure on it, why would there be? It's a game between two teams who won't qualify for Europe through league position and won't go down.

We have two games that mean anything for the remainder of the season, Villa and Albion for people who care about such things (I don't particularly, as I'm not 12). The other 13 are irrelevant.

I disagree after tonight’s shambles he needs a response if anything to keep the Nuno out crowd at bay.

Any improvement on the 'dull, dire and passive 5 at the back with Neves and Moutinho in the midfield and no idea what to do when we have the ball' will do me

Idk tbh. I've probably just typed 5 different selections and formations and they all looked shot.

We've wasted a season so we may as well write the rest off too. I'd give Vitinha a good run starting with Neves, I'd like to see more of RAN to see what he could do but can't justify him starting ahead of jonny despite there being nothing to play for. I wouldn't be against having RAN wide left and Pedro wide right, with Semedo going outside and jonny inside, hopefully giving some balance, movement and options.

Silva just needs a month out of the spotlight, some u23 football, and 20 minutes off the bench once a week for the rest of the season.

Patricio
Samedo Coady Saiss Jonny
Otasowie Neves Dendonker
MGW
WJ Neto

may as well try something a bit different . Gives MGW the chance behind a two and encouraging us to keep it on the deck more. More pace and legs in Midfield too.

Anything but three up front. It's shite.
