Not a fan of Semedo and Traore tripping over each other, hope Adama comes in a bit !

Interesting team, not surprised to see Traore start but though it would be for Podence. Pleased to see RAN given another chance despite his poor showing last time out. Big call leaving Coady out.....who's doing the organising?
Good to see Vitihna on the bench

I’m surprised Marcal hasn’t got the nod ahead of Ait-Nouri. Nice little confidence booster for the young lad there - hopefully we see more of a Palace performance than a Leicester one from him.
The rest of it is about as good as we can field, based on the players missing. Missing a big vocal presence at the back without Coads, which is slightly concerning.

It should be a good open game, looking at the sides.
With two midfielders who are going to play deeper you need the more attacking intent.
Wonder if they'll send all of the back 3 up for corners or keep one of them back like Coady.
You’d certainly hope so. Would be silly not too

I'm really surprised Coady isn't featuring. He's naturally fit enough, in a pretty low intensity role, and knows the system inside out. I can't see how having him start would be classed as being more of a disadvantage than fucking around with the back 3. I don't get it.

I would put him in the Steve Bull Upper during the game...they will hear him.
Surely the players will only hear him from the South Bank. Put him in the North Bank and he will be home before the final whistle

Maybe Coady has corona. It’s a very young bench we have. Can’t wait for the game! Hope Traore hits some form. And the wing backs play well.

I now only seem able to speak in small sentences! Fingers crossed for a good performance!

My guess he only got the all clear very late today when the latest test results were in. So Nuno not turning back on how he has prepared the team over the last 2-3 days.

At least it is only 1 game and we've been wondering who would step into his spot should something happen to him. So that one has been answered

He had it back in March so unlikely

Coady was available to play but not selected by Nuno having trained on his own.

Age of the outfield players on that bench. 18,18,19, 20, 20, 31

Mmmm.

Nervous.

No Coady.

I hope they perform well tonight. Must score first.

Hope I'm wrong but with no DM in midfield, an inexperienced left side and Coady out too I could see this going tits up.

Hope Adama takes his chance. Need Raul to up his performance level too.

At least it's not Ruddy between the sticks!

i see Neves as a defensive midfielder tbh

Not optimistic at all about this game. Feel like we could get a bit of a tonking here. Hope I'm wrong.

Nuno says Coady is in self-isolation.

Neves is the DM. Moutinho isn’t going to be as high up the pitch as Donck and Moutinho is regularly up there in the charts for tackles and interceptions.

They're playing 4-4-2 apparently which is exactly the sort of shape we dominate against.

What I should have said was that without Donk in midfield I feel Neves and Moutinho are too easily dominated as a pair in a 3-4-3

Hopefully such fears are unfounded. Could certainly do with the front three clicking tonight
