Spoilt Princesses moaning about Media Coverage of Wolves

the volume of fucking adverts on the E&S site now is fucking horrendous. Ridiculous pop ups and other shizzle that cover the text of what you previously wanted to read.
I used to casually glance the e&s website most weekdays at lunchtime to catch up with sport and local news. no fucking chance anymore.

The amount of coverage Spiers puts out versus what The Athletic do with Philadelphia Eagles is pretty pathetic. They have 2 writers, but the written content is significantly more than double, plus 3 podcasts a week in season and 2 out. He's living the dream life.

I guess this goes here?

BBC website has an article on the safe standing trial starting this year illustrated with a picture of Molineux 🤦🏼‍♂️.

I would rank this article (to paraphrase Johnny) 'as middle of the back' it reads as if the author was drunk whilst writing it, not in a few pints at lunchtime either, more a 2.00am sending random texts type drunk.

Even aside from the lazy spelling errors and mis-types, that is shockingly written. You wouldn't even have that at GCSE level.

He won just five of his 25 games giving him, you guessed it, a 25 per cent win ratio.

Nice work, Captain Maths.

I reckon there are at least 20 errors in there of some kind. Impressive.

Part Time Steve's long awaited Wolves mailbag, which I won't link as I don't want to give him clicks, offered less detail than most on this forum could offer, but I enjoyed this moment on the prospects of the women's team

"First, I need to hold my hands up and say I haven’t done as much as I’d like on the women’s team so far. Hopefully things will calm down a little in the new year and that’s something I can address."

Now as far as we know apart from his 'illness', he is working at the moment before his weekend away in a couple of weeks. Wolves male first team haven't played a game for 3 weeks or so, the younger age groups and women are, but he doesn't seem to have time to watch them, so what does he do? I have no doubt they'll be a puff piece conversation with JL and a day at the training ground which will take a day to write up, so what does he do with his time? I've said this before about Spiers but what he offers versus the NFL writers is comical. The Eagles beat writers put more content out per week in May and June when the league is dead than he or Spiers do/did in the main season.

He's genuinely a fucking joke.

This Q&A was trailed for over a week. The answers wouldn't amount to an afternoon's work. He's picked questions that ask the same thing and also ones that he can't answer. No insight anywhere.

Not at the Gillingham game because he "didn't think it'd be an issue". Really, I mean in August we knew we had one game to play to get to this stage, it's against Leeds who aren't great and we knew the date of the next round.

He's had at least two holidays in the season already before this one, what the fuck is going on here?

I don't think he has any intention of watching the women's team at all. Which is fine, nor do I while they're at that level, it's a waste of time as we're ridiculously overpowered and there's no contest. So don't pretend you do or it was the aim all along but you haven't had time (doing what?).

I wouldn't say Spiers was better, he cared 100% more but lacks the basic writing skills that Madeley has, and Spiers' Twitter output was appalling on so many levels. I don't get how they've managed to get it so wrong twice, when you look at other clubs on that site (bar Bournemouth, which they've had to shove some poor twat into) we're absolutely miles behind.

Liam Keen is currently the best Wolves writer around, I mean think about that (I quite like him but he is what he is and I'd be less positive if everyone else for nearly 20 years hadn't been crap).

Almost makes me want to write again. Almost.
