I mean this, firstly.

Its a bit early, obvs, but going by what the club keep saying about only wanting people in who improve the first XI I'm not sure how many we'd actually be looking to bring in. If I had to guess I would think we'd be looking at CB as even though Bennett has done very well and has improved a lot we could still do with someone more comfortable on the ball in that spot. Could Coady and Doc be improved? Possibly, but I don't know what kind of players are out there who could do better than they are doing at the moment.

Personally I think we need better depth than we have now as the dropoff between the first XI and the backups is pretty steep at the moment - but that doesn't really chime with the above. Personally would like another option up front as even if Cav can potentially back up Jota and Raul he's very inconsistent.

The other thing I'd maybe looking at is a long-term replacement for Moutinho - he's been fantastic but will still turn 33 in September and only has a year left on his deal. Is MGW for that spot? I'm not so sure. If we could nail down a talented early 20 something then you've potentially got a midfield core for the next 4-5 years.

I'd like us to be able to loan MGW out so maybe someone who plays in that position who is a bit older (or João Felix )

If that's all we did is be happy

I think then 3/4 upgrades anywhere we can. Plus, if we do get Europa we will need a bigger squad to give us more options

Would love to see Tierney at Wolves. Whilst he's not having the same type of season as he had last year, I think he has got a huge amount of potential and would suit our style of play, he's very versatile.

Someone whose as good on the ball as Boly where Bennett plays would help us so much from an attacking sense.

I'd always want Bennett at the club though as an uber reliable back up

I'd like to see us sort out a contract extension for Joăo as well, we only signed him on a 2 year deal. He's such a fantastic footballer and will be playing at the top level way into his late 30s.

Think we will look to sell Costa (sadly looks a shadow of the player and no sign this is changing). Can see Ruddy and Saiss choosing to leave rather than being pushed.
Got to sign Raul on a permanent, a centre back who is better on the ball than Bennet, wide player upgrade (Behrami perhaps though lots of competition) and a 3rd forward to push Raul and Diogo.

I think who we let go will be dependent on whether we are in Europe or not. If we are then the squad will need to be 4/5 players deeper than not and in that instance I can see the likes of Costa and Cav still being around.
